The Daffodil room lends itself best to the quiet serenity one would expect of a home built in the days before wireless. Fully furnished with matching vintage dressers, and complete with a private bathroom, the Daffodil room features corner views to the backyard and western sky for beautiful sunsets. The space This 1907 house is full of nostalgia, charm, and wonder from days gone by. Here, you will have the perfect mix of modern technology (wi-fi and modern kitchenry) with all of the charm of vintage life (vintage light switches, a beautiful parlor and library). The home is great for an immersive experience of old-town Redlands and life before the modern age. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire first floor (kitchen, parlor, dining room, library), the outside backyard, the porch, and the second floor balcony. Guests have full access to their private room and bathroom, with a key unique to the room ensuring security and safety. During your stay With planning, I can accommodate nearly any check-in/check-out meetings. Even on short notice, I can make arrangements for key drop off and pick up. If desired, a full tour of the house is available for the curious, and even city tours if schedule permits. As your host, I have constant access to my phone for text, e-mail and voicemail (which will be replied to within an hour or less). Other things to note The house is very charming in the day. It is a house from 1907. The neighborhood is extremely safe (Redlands police station is less than 5 blocks away, with regular patrols on Olive street), and your host very familiar with all aspects of the home, these charming and beautiful houses are made of Redwood and Pine. As the day cools, they can creak a little and there can be noises of it settling down. As with any vacation, your beliefs and attitude will determine your stay. Take the time to appreciate the wonderful smell of redwood throughout, the sounds of pine adjusting to your weight as you walk on the wood floors, and the sight of original warbled glass as the light refracts through.
