Our accommodation is a mother-in-law studio attached to our house but with a separate entrance. Includes ONE "full"-size bed (a little smaller than a queen) to sleep 2 people; private bathroom with shower. Kitchenette includes mini refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, one plug-in burner, tea pot, coffee-maker, kitchenware; wi-fi available. **You must be able to climb steep stairs to access.** You will feel as though you are in a tree house! Pine forest on all sides. Please note this is a self-catering unit. And no TV. (books + games + wi-fi, yes) We have three cats but they do not hang out inside the studio. If you have severe allergies, though, please consider there are furry cats on the premises. (And if you want to meet them, let us know! A lot of people do.) Odds of seeing wildlife in the yard any time of year are good but never guaranteed. All photos of wildlife in this listing were taken in the yard. Early summer is a great time to see wildflowers. We are a 15 minute drive to Eldora ski resort, about 15 minute drive to nearest trailhead to hike in the Indian Peaks Wilderness, and walking distance to the Mud Lake trail system. About 1 hour drive to nearest RMNP gate. There are many restaurants in town. We are 30 minutes from Boulder; 1 hour from Denver. (1.5 hrs from DIA) Please note public transport is very limited to and around Nederland. Things like Uber or Lyft are also extremely limited. Stay in touch on social media! My no animals policy is a blanket policy, nothing personal but no exceptions. I specifically assure guests with allergies who inquire that no animals have been inside the studio. I also use this studio as a work space when it's not rented and I have allergies to dog hair and dander. Even if you have a service animal, please be considerate that this is my private home I live in, not an investment or vacation property, and there are plenty of places in town that allow animals.
