Cozy cabin centrally located at Gålå with panoramic views

Very central location with lovely views over Gålåvatnet. Newly prepared ski slopes right outside the door, ski in- ski out to the downhill slope, restaurant at Gålå hotel, cafeteria at Gålå booking (here there are electric car chargers) and food and sports shop. The space Remember to bring your own bed linens (size bed: 160x200cm and 140x200 cm, duvets: 140x220cm), towels, soap and other personal equipment, and dispose of garbage at the environmental station (located at the descent to the alpine resort/ lake) upon departure. Gålå is a mountain area that has a well-developed trail network for skiing, as well as several family-friendly alpine slopes. In summer there are countless opportunities for walking and cycling trips, climbing park and frisbee golf by the alpine slope and beach for swimming/ sunbathing and other water activities at Gålåvatnet. Fishing license can be purchased at the local grocery store Joker. In August every year, the performance Peer Gynt takes place on the stage at Gålåvatnet. There is a short drive to the national parks Jotunheimen and Rondane, where the highest mountain peaks in Norway are located. Small and cozy cabin centrally located on Gålå with great views. The cabin is newly renovated, with large window surfaces, new open plan kitchen with living room and a large and sun-facing terrace. The bathroom has a toilet, vanity and shower. The two bedrooms have a double bed with closet for storage. There is fiber installed and the cabin has a TV with apple box mounted on the wall in the living room. Of heating there are heating cables in the floor in the bathroom, heat pump and fireplace in the living room. Firewood can be purchased at the grocery store Joker in Gålå. Otherwise, it must be mentioned that it is within walking distance to the ski slopes/ ski stadium, Gålå hotel (restaurant), food and sports shop and cafeteria at Gålå booking. Here you also have electric car chargers. It is not allowed to charge your car at the cabin, as there is no separate course installed for this purpose. Additional Information: Heating: Firepit/ Fireplace: Please use the fireplace if you want a warmer indoor climate. It gets hot quickly, as this is new and dimensioned to heat up a much larger area than what the cabin is. There are some logs in the living room. When you are going to fire up the fireplace, the pull valve that is in the middle of the top (silver glossy) needs to be pulled out. This one quickly goes in by itself. Therefore, put a block (stone) into the vent and leave it there until it burns properly. The stone is inside the valve now, so it should be easy to get a fire on the fireplace. Remember to open the oven door carefully when adding more wood, as it is easy to fire ash out into the room. Under the fire place there is a room where there are spark briquettes and flares. Be sure not to use the kitchen fan when lighting, as this leads to smoke from the stove pulling into the space. TV: There is applebox connected to the TV. There you can watch nrk for free and if you have your own streaming subscriptions you can log into Viaplay, Nettflix, HBO, TV2 , Disney, Strim and more. You can stream from your phone via the applebox if you have iphone. Turn on TV with the TV remote, when the screen is turned on, press the apple box remote (the small remote), aim at the TV. Use the arrow keys to select the desired app. If the menu for apple does not come up, you have to change your exit. To do this, press "source" on the TV remote, use the arrow keys and select Hdmi 2 and press ok. Induction hob: Press the power button. The lights for the plates turn on. Select the desired temperature by pressing next to the plate you want. The hob automatically turns off when there is no boiler on the plate. Oven is brand new and very easy to operate. There are turn switches and 7 different programs to choose from. There are a lot of different oven trays in the room below the stove. There is a heat pump installed in the cabin that ensures a good temperature. In addition, wood burning (fireplace) can be used for heating in the winter season. Guests have free access to firewood during their stay. The bathroom has its own heating (heating cables in the floor), which ensures a good and warm bath.
