Guests rave about how homey, peaceful, and well-equipped it feels, your perfect escape awaits! 🩷 The space Welcome to The Glam Cottage! This charming 1,000 sq ft cottage sits on a peaceful 1-acre lot, offering the perfect blend of comfort, character, and privacy. Whether you’re here for a relaxing escape, a girls’ weekend, or a cozy couple’s getaway, this space is designed to feel like your home away from home. Inside, you’ll find two beautifully styled bedrooms, each with a comfy queen-size bed dressed in silky soft sheets (if you’d prefer something else, just let us know in advance, we’re happy to swap them out!). We’ve stocked the beds with four pillows each and extras in the closet, so you can find your perfect match. Each room also has a sound machine and floor fan to help you sleep soundly. The bathroom is stocked with plush towels, hand towels, washcloths, and a selection of toiletries just in case you forgot something. The tub is a step-in style with a shower curtain for easy access. The kitchen is fully loaded and ready for whatever you’re cooking up whether it’s a quick breakfast or a candlelit dinner. You’ll find an air fryer, toaster, microwave, oven, fridge, wine glasses, pots, pans, and specialty dishes to make your stay feel extra special. We’ve even have a laundry room with laundry pod, just in case you need to wash something during your stay. From the thoughtful touches to the peaceful setting, The Glam Cottage is all about comfort, relaxation, and making great memories. Guest access Outdoor Oasis: Step outside into your own private fenced backyard retreat featuring a relaxing hot tub just steps from the back door, a boho-themed covered gazebo perfect for lounging, and a cozy fire pit with swings, ideal for unwinding under the stars. You’ll also find a grill for cookouts and a small ambience pond, just a heads-up if you have curious or clumsy pups, as it’s not fenced separately. The yard is enclosed with a 6 ft. privacy fence and locking gates for your peace of mind. The property sits on 1 acre, with a few sheds and an RV located on-site, but don’t worry, they’re separate from the guest area and won’t interfere with your stay. In the front yard, there’s a second gazebo where you can relax and watch the occasional passing car or enjoy the nostalgic sounds of the local high school band during summer football games, a sweet reminder of small-town charm. Parking is easy, and everything is set up to offer a cozy, relaxing stay from start to finish. Other things to note Please Note: We’re happy for the cottage to be used as a dressing space for a wedding, but kindly limit it to no more than 4 people, along with a photographer and/or makeup artist for a short session. Unfortunately, we’ve had past issues with larger groups, so we’ve had to set clear boundaries. Please understand: • The home has one bathroom and a septic system, which cannot support large groups or gatherings. • Any gathering beyond the stated use would be considered an event, and Airbnb does not permit events or parties. Maintenance & Services: • Lawn care: Thursdays • Trash pickup: Wednesday morning • Hot tub cleaning & plant care: Weekly Mid-Stay Cleaning: For reservations 12 nights or longer, a mid-stay cleaning is required. The fee is $100, and we’ll schedule it at a time that works best for you. Bugs & Wildlife: Welcome to the South, where warm weather brings all kinds of bugs and critters! You may encounter mosquitoes, ants, spiders, stink bugs or even the occasional palmetto bug (looks like a roach) despite regular pest control and a very clean home. Frogs, lizards, deer, squirrels, birds and snakes can also be spotted outdoors around the area. Please keep doors closed to help keep nature outside where it belongs. We don’t offer refunds for the occasional bug sighting, thank you for understanding! WELL WATER- Please note that our home uses well water, and we have a kitchen filtration system available for cooking and drinking. While the shower water typically appears clear, you may occasionally notice a slight tint when filling a bathtub. This is a common characteristic of well water. We have the water professionally tested twice a year to monitor its quality.
