Welcome to Hakuna Matata, a cosy, well-appointed guest studio in the quiet and lovely Narrawallee - a 3hr drive south of Sydney. Our guest studio is an Adults Only space that accommodates 2 people with a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, plenty of storage for luggage, a comfortable sitting area, tea/coffee making facilities, private courtyard, BBQ, and kitchenette. Walking distance away is Narrawallee beach, and the inlet, a tranquil lake, popular for kayaking and Stand Up Paddling (SUP). The space The studio is located at the rear of our home - accessible across our back garden and into your private courtyard. In the large 36m2 room is a king bed, wardrobe, a comfortable lounge, a TV, and coffee/tea making area, bathroom with shower, dining setting, and kitchenette. In the separate bathroom there is a shower, vanity, and toilet. In the sunny courtyard is a bbq and an outdoor setting. We have tried to create a comfortable and cosy space for 2. We have an outdoor shower as well as a fire pit and comfy lounge chairs in the garden that we are happy to share with our guests by arrangement. Guest access You have a designated parking spot at the front of the property, and side gate access into our back garden that will lead you to your private fenced courtyard and the studio - at the rear. Please note you will come and go across our back garden. Our 2 small schnoodles have intermittent access to the garden so you may be greeted by their antics from time to time, however they prefer to hang out inside the house and will usually not be bothered by people. If we have approved your pet to stay with you, or if you prefer not to have any interaction with our dogs please mention this in your booking request and we will manage it all before your stay. Other things to note There is Wifi available; a TV with all commercial channels and access to Netflix (you will need to use your own membership login), and a bluetooth Bose speaker. There is also a Nespresso coffee pod machine. REGARDING PETS Pets are BY APPLICATION. We require pet details to be submitted when requesting the booking. We want to maintain the high standard of cleanliness and hygeine in our space, and keep the place friendly for all people - including the non-pet lovers and the sensitive ones to pet dust. As such pets will be considered and only approved once we've carefully screened applicants. Please attach a photo of your dog with your request. We are dog lovers and we travel with our pets, so we know that our expectations are very reasonable. In general, we'll ask that certain rules be observed at Hakuna Matata: 1. Dogs and cats do not destroy anything inside or outside (e.g. biting or scratching furniture, digging holes); 2. Fur - we dont want to discriminate but low and non shedding breeds are preferred - it keeps the cost of cleaning manageable but if you can show us that you'll manage the shedding then lets talk; 3. Please clean up any mess your pet makes - poo, chewed toys etc 4. We cannot have dogs stay who are excessive barkers, howlers, or cryers. If your plan is to leave your dog alone for long periods then our place may not be suitable for you. 5. For best enjoyment, the space is more suitable for small to medium mature dogs. EARLY CHECK-IN & LATE CHECK-OUT Our normal check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 10am. Where possible, we will offer an earlier check-in and later check-out depending on incoming and outgoing guests - that means you will get a days notice. If you have a need for a definite early check-in or late check-out, and you wish to secure this ahead of your stay, then we have discounted rates available that mean you will be booking the studio for an extra day.
