Sangare Gardens: Chalet One

Sangare Gardens is a running farmhouse situated on an expansive farm adjacent to the Aberdare National Park in the Sangare area. It is a 3.5 hour drive from Nairobi and 6 kilometres from the Nyeri-Nyahururu Road. Relax and enjoy our fresh country breezes combined with scenic views of both Mount Kenya and the Aberdare ranges. This listing includes all meals (full board). The space A short walking distance away from the main house, along a leafy path are private cottages. Each cottage is a double room with a spacey bathroom attached and a small outdoor seating area which is perfect for bird watching or morning/evening tea. There is a communal dining area under the main house that has ample seating, a stocked bar, a pool table and a TV. Tea and coffee can always be found here as well as a few soft drinks. Behind the dining area is a fully kitted kitchen with a home cook ready to serve up some tasty dishes. For those looking for a separate entertainment area, the gazebo fitted with a built-in grill, bar and bluetooth speaker is the perfect place to unwind and have some fun. It also has a darts board and table tennis in the space beneath it. We have a trampoline in the garden for those who are feeling bouncy. We also have home grown tilapia in the pond that can be personally fished and served up for a meal of your choice. WiFi is available, however it is only centred around the main house and the gazebo. We have a lovely lady that will do all your housekeeping (laundry can be done at an extra cost) and guards stationed around the farm if you need them. Firewood and all other small things are included. Guest access Guest will have full access to all the residences and shared spaces. As Sangare gardens is a working farm, guest will need to request during booking for a tour of the farming areas. There is more than enough parking space for visitors. The area surrounding the farm is perfect for walks and there is a river that is about 3km away where you can dip your toes in (or your whole self).
