Avoca Park's newly developed 'Room With A View' is the ideal retreat for a solo traveller. Stylishly decorated it offers a comfortable, single bunk bed The bathroom to this room is separate and external, recently renovated and is shared. There is direct access to a modern, well set up shared kitchen. The apartment has a flat screen TV, DVD player and a variety of DVD's for your viewing. This is the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate!!! The space Avoca Park's popular Room with a View is stylishly decorated and comfortably appointed - Our Room with a View has a flat screen TV, DVD player and assortment of movies to watch, if you'd like to just sit in and relax. Alternatively you can simply sit outside in one of our sitting areas, surrounded by our beautiful gardens and trees and read a book and enjoy the sites our clients and their horses bring. We have an under cover outdoor sitting area with BBQ for your use. Being an equestrian property there is the opportunity to have a riding lesson or two on our wonderful school horses. Or book a once in a life time Donkey Experience, something that you won't experience anywhere else Alternatively spend a relaxing evening in our outdoor spa or around our fire on our Memorial Reserve. Our local town Emerald is a 15min drive and has many lovely cafes and restaurants and well as home to historical steam train Puffing Billy which still runs daily. Locally we have rail trails for bike riding and National Parks for walkers. Healesville Sanctuary, Yarra Valley Choclaterie are both 30 minutes away. Alternatively you may be interested in Internationally awarded Gin Distillery, Four Pillars. Being part of the Yarra Valley wine region you could spend hours or days driving around this beautiful district tasting wines from vineyards such as Domain Chandon, Tarrawarra, Balgownie and Yering Station to name just a few. Guest access For our guests enjoyment we have - An undercover BBQ area with a 10 seat setting. The cost for BBQ use per night is $22 inclusive of power, cleaning and gas. We need 24hrs notice to have prepared for you. A hot tub/spa for up to 6 people. The cost for use per day is $33 inclusive of power and cleaning. We need 24hrs notice to have prepared for you. A outdoor fire. The cost for this is $22 per day inclusive of supply of wood. We need 24hrs notice to have prepared for you. **Please note - The above areas are communal, a great way to get to know other travellers. :) We love our guests to wander around our property, spend some time relaxing in our Memorial reserve. Take part in our Donkey Experience and meet our beautiful donkeys, Johnny and Jenny Simpson. Watch our horses and the energies they give us. If you would like to book a riding lesson or a donkey experience please let us know, these are generally available every day. The earlier the bookings are requested the greater chance we have of meeting your requirements with our teachers and horses/ponies. Cost are - $140 with our Equestrian Australia Introductory teachers $170 with Leanne Williams, our Equestrian Australia Level 3 teacher and Level 1 Legerete Licensed teacher. **Above prices are inclusive of boot and helmet hire. A Donkey Experience is $50 per person for a 1 hour experience with a minimum of 2 people. Other things to note **Please note, this loft bed is up a ladder with hand rails. **The bathroom is external and shared. We clean this area twice a day. **The kitchen is adjoining the room and communal. This area gets cleaned daily. **No air conditioning but there is a fan. On request for our guests we can provide a continental breakfast for $16.50 per person. You have the option of cereals, fruit, yogurt, a variety of toasts - raisin, sour dough, wholemeal, crumpets. All with your choice of your topping. For the late arriving traveller or a lazy night night inj we have an array of frozen dinners available along with desserts and drinks that can be left in your accommodation for you. Alternatively for those wanting a romantic evening, a picnic cheese platter or trio of dips with turkish bread can be made up for your convenience to take down to our Memorial Reserve for you to watch the sun set. Treat yourself to a massage ($180.00) or a facial ($200.00) or foot reflexology ($180.00) Your massages will need to be pre-booked and we need as much time as possible to organise and it is dependent on availability.
