Peaceful Hudson Valley Retreat House with HOT TUB!

Charming country house with access to all that the Hudson Valley has to offer! Spacious, light-filled 4 bedroom/2 bathroom house with a huge yard, back deck for BBQing, and new saltwater hot tub. Located next to Lake Taghkanic State Park, 20 minutes to Hudson and Red Hook/Rhinebeck. The space Enjoy the open floorplan of the dining and living area that are filled with light and open directly to the back deck. We've stocked the bookshelf with games, books, and records for the record player. And if you're feeling like staying in watching movies, we have a DVD player with a wide selection of DVD's and a ROKU. The master bedroom on the first floor has an en suite bathroom, while three additional bedrooms can be found on the second floor. We have a wood-burning stove in the living area for a cozy and warm stay by the fire. After a couple hours, the stove will heat the whole house, even on the coldest night. We renovated the en suite bathroom on the first floor with shower stall making in more accessible for our guest who have mobility issues. Eat breakfast on the south-facing back deck (or looking out at the big windows when it's cold) with beautiful sunlight overlooking a wooded area that leads down to the Doove kill Creek. If you're feeling brave, you can follow the path down to the creek to find a little piece of paradise surrounded by the sights, sounds, and smells of nature. Chill in the privacy of the backyard or stay inside the house and relax. It's the perfect place for relaxing, writing, creating, hanging out with friends or venturing out to state historic sites, hiking trails, wineries, antique shops, and great locally-sourced restaurants. For those who love to cook, you will enjoy the spaciousness of the kitchen, with plenty space for gathering. Guest access We ask that you stay on our property and do not go onto our neighbor's land. Other things to note The house is definitely family-friendly. We do have a pack and play, toys and a high chair available. If you're planning on bringing your wee tots with you, talk to us first so that we can try to have the items ready.
