Eastside Study Space #3 | Private Room | Work Desk
**Hello! Please read all details in the listing description below!** This private room is part of a co-living style 3 bedroom flat, close to Lake Michigan, Downtown & UW Milwaukee. Walkable to an abundance of restaurants, nightlife, entertainment & eclectic Brady Street. This space is great for students & travelers that want to experience our city like a local! Close proximity to bus lines & approximately 2 miles from the freeway gives you the ability to explore our city to the fullest. You have your own private room, but will share the common areas such as the bathroom, kitchen, living room and dining room with other guests. This is the 1st floor of a duplex, with residents living upstairs on the second floor, so you may occasionally hear traffic noise from them during your stay. The TV in the livingroom has Roku built in and Gooogle Chromecast for your entertainment. Speedy WiFi connection is also available upon arrival. This is an older house (built in the early 20th century) so it does not have the modern features like most homes built today. It comes with squeaky floors & doors, textured walls, older amenities and sound can travel easily, so this home may not be suitable for everyone, but it definitely holds its classic charm! ***PARKING***: There is only street parking available and availability may vary. It’s a one way street with angled parking spots on one side, so it may be difficult to find a spot immediately, but there’s usually always places to park within a 1 block radius. ***A complimentary city permit may be required if your car will be parked outside overnight Sunday night-Thursday night from 2-6am, and no permit is needed if you park on the street Friday night-Saturday night. A PERMIT MUST BE PURCHASED FOR STAYS LONGER THAN 3 CONSECUTIVE NIGHTS (excluding weekends and holidays) and costs 20 dollars. If this will be needed for your stay, let us know and we can provide you with instructions. There is coin laundry available for use in the basement. Like the house, it’s a very old basement as well, and may be a little scary to some, but it’s available to use during your stay! Guests have access to their private room, the rest of the common spaces in the apartment and the coin laundry in the basement.
