Located in the pretty little village of Darley Bridge with its historic arched Bridge that dates back to the 15th Century, our village is lucky to have two country pubs and fantastic walks just minutes away, including the famed Oker Hill, as well as woodland ideal for dogs to explore. We have a resident deer population of unique black deer which you will almost certainly see during your stay, as they regularly visit the surrounding properties looking for treats (and garden flowers!). Darley Bridge is in a fantastic location, being situated between Bakewell and Matlock, just a very short drive from historic buildings such as Chatsworth House and estate, and Haddon Hall. In the opposite direction you will find Matlock and Matlock Bath where the Heights of Abraham and Gullivers Kingdom are located, as well as the regular hustle and bustle, pubs, bars and restaurants of the famous little resort town. The surrounding lush hills and dales are dotted with plenty of cosy country pubs to refuel after long walks! Guest access A parking spot behind the lodge is for your use (you may also use the side lane if your car is too big for this space).
