A walk into the “Borough” passing Lake Neanger, YMCA pool/sauna and gym complex, lawn bowls, croquet (visitors welcome), skate park and the beautiful Canterbury Gardens. Next is the iconic Star Cinema, and the old local lock up. Great coffee available at Skips. Walking to the left is the championship Neanger Park golf course including a 9 hole par three layout. Opportunities exist to fish, bait available at the local servo. Kayakers and paddleboarders also enjoy the lake. Additionally with your stay I offer the opportunity to have a three hour guided painting session from the deck looking across the lake.
