The Granary, Court Lodge Butleigh.

If your looking for a unique, historical, quaint, ‘bijou’ little bolt hole in a stunning rural setting, with a beautiful view of Glastonbury Tor from your bed, this is the place for you ! This 18th Century Granary, stands on its original saddle stones and is one of the few buildings of its type in the county as well as the country! We have managed to restore the majority of the original wood panelling, stunning roof beams and the quirky features of a 300 year old farm building. The space The open plan living space is full of character and original features, including Elm wooden carpentry that dates back to 1760. The original Elm panels divide the bathroom and living area from the bedroom. There is a wonderful King size bed, bathroom with shower, living area with comfy seats and an electric wood stove. The kitchen has a fridge, kettle, toaster -and microwave. There is a large decked area to relax and soak up the sun overlooking the garden and pond. Guest access There is a private off road parking area and access to the Granary is by a decked ramp. The Granary has its own access and outside sitting area overlooking the garden. Other things to note For those who love Glastonbury, you have a beautiful view of GlastonburyTor from your bed! The whole area is steeped in history, culture and stunning rural English countryside. I will provide a few essentials for your arrival, such as milk( please let me know if you would prefer oat/coconut or almond) butter, bread, muesli, yoghurt etc. if you would like any specific you can always message me and I can get it ready for your arrival.
