The Cottage

The Cottage, with a studio style layout, is a bright and clean space just one mile from historic downtown lees summit with local shops, bars and restaurants. The cottage is ~20 min from downtown Kansas City and 15 min from Kaufman and Arrowhead Stadium. This newly renovated 1900s milk barn is unique and special with a lot of charm, with a few of the modern conveniences. Guests are welcome to take advantage of the two acre landscaped yard and enjoy a delicious s’more at the outdoor fire pit! The space This cottage was the original house and milk barn before they built our house in 1920. It is on our property with the main house in front making it a very safe yet still separate space for you to enjoy! Guest access You are welcome to use the fire pit with the wood that is available next to it. Please keep it contained and controlled. Thank you! Other things to note Think a cute little hobbit house. We have had tall guests and they are able to enjoy it. Just know that you may need to duck your head when entering the kitchen and bathroom. She is unique and with that comes some quirky ceilings and spaces but I also think that’s what makes her special.
