Traditional Ticino house (Rustico) from the 17th century in the core of the small village of Aurigeno (Maggia municipality). Two covered seating areas (loggia) and a soapstone oven invite you to linger. The house is easily accessible by public transport. Blue parking spaces are available a few meters in front of the house. (Permit via parkingpay) The Maggia river and the small waterfall are within walking distance. Great starting point for walks, longer hikes, bike rides and swimming. The house does not have central heating, so it is rather cold in the off-season and winter season. In the transitional period, we mainly heat with the soapstone stove.
