Home in East Tawas

This is a smoke free/pet free property. No large gatherings or parties allowed. Although we are not located on the beach, we are 2 blocks from the lake and 4-7 blocks from the beach. When staying at our place you are a 7 minute drive to Tawas Point State Park, 19 minutes from Lumberman's Monument/National Forest, and 14 minutes from Red Hawk Golf Course. Also a short distance from canoeing, kayaking, bike trails & hiking. Plentiful shops restaurants and bars to enjoy. #STR-010 The space Our ranch style cottage home is clean, comfortable, spacious & offers ample sleeping space. The listing shows 2 bedrooms with 3 beds. One bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has two queen beds. There is an additional twin bed set up in the large laundry area for extra sleeping space. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms as well as a window unit air conditioner in each bedroom (sorry, no central air), large yard, fire pit, bikes, corn hole, grill. The two window air conditioners keep the entire house pretty comfortable. Our kitchen has a gas stove, coffee pot, pots and pans, dishes, glassware, toaster, silverware, microwave & refrigerator (no dishwasher). All bedding and towels included. Pets are not allowed at this time. Guest access Living room, kitchen, bedrooms, laundry room, bathroom, garage. Other things to note As is the case with most cottages in the Tawas area there is no central air conditioning. There is a window unit air conditioner in both bedrooms and as long as all the windows in the home are kept closed, the air conditioners keep the entire home pretty comfortable. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms as well as other fans in the home. We also do get a pretty good lake breeze to enjoy. Because this property is in a residential neighborhood, it is important to be mindful and respectful of neighbors and keep outside noise level to a minimum. Fire pit can be used until 10 pm.
