Log cabin right on the lake that is close to EVERYTHING, making it easy to plan your visit. You can relax outside by the fire pit or get cozy inside the sitting room that overlooks Lake Huron and has a spectacular view. We have a separate game room equipped with shuffleboard and a 65" smart TV. Bring your boat right up to the private dock or use the 2 kayaks that are included with your stay. Can't beat the location! You can walk or bike to the shops, restaurants, parks and beaches. The space This cabin is centrally located right in the hustle and bustle of East Tawas and right on Lake Huron! The backyard drops down just enough that the hill blocks the noise of the traffic on Main Street. So, you can be playing yard games, sitting by the fire or swimming in the lake, and forget how close to town you are! The cabin has 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and a game room with a shuffleboard table. Central air added in 2024!! The house is fully stocked with towels and bedding/pillows. We provide 3 toilet paper rolls for each bathroom and 2 paper towel rolls. Hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner will be provided as well. The kitchen will have pots, pans, dishes, microwave, toaster, blender, wine opener, and coffee pot/single kuerig cup. We have coffee filters, coffee grounds, and kcups that are provided. Other things to note Things to take into consideration: Being by the water is a beautiful experience, but it may come with outdoor bugs. Pack your bug spray in the warmer months! The Great Lakes have a midge surge each year for about a week in late spring. While annoying, they are a sign of a healthy lake and are harmless non-biters! The full bathroom with a tub/shower is on the 2nd floor. It is a cabin and has thin walls. Noise from the road can be heard inside the cabin. We provide sound machines in each bedroom. Firewood is stocked at certain times of year but is not promised.
