The perfect blend of comfort, fun, and convenience! The space This cozy log cabin sits right on Lake Huron and is perfectly located in the heart of East Tawas—just a short walk to downtown. While you're close to the action, the backyard slopes just enough to buffer the sounds of Main Street, so you can enjoy yard games, a lakeside fire, or a swim in peace. The cabin features 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and a game room with a shuffleboard table. We provide towels, bedding, and pillows. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, a microwave, toaster, blender, wine opener, and both a drip coffee maker and Keurig. Coffee grounds, filters, and K-Cups are included. The washer and dryer are in the basement. You access the basement from outside. Also, for your use is 2 kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. Other things to note Things to take into consideration: Being by the lake is a beautiful experience—but it can come with a few outdoor visitors. We recommend bringing bug spray during warm summer months. Also, a heads-up: the Great Lakes experience a short midge season in late spring. These harmless, non-biting insects are a natural sign of a healthy lake ecosystem and usually pass within a week. The full bathroom with a tub/shower is on the 2nd floor. *There is no shower or tub on main floor. It is a cabin and has thin walls. Noise from the road can be heard inside the cabin. We provide sound machines in each bedroom. Firewood is stocked at certain times of year but is not promised.
