The house is a 1940's Cape Cod house that is well maintained & updated but still keeps the original character. Our neighborhood is relatively quiet with a mix of older residents and younger couples with children. The suite with kitchenette is a separate, private space within our permanent residence & we will not access the area unless it is an emergency. However, since we do share the air, and due to our allergies, please NO smoking, vaping, burning candles or incense anywhere on our property. The space Your private entrance is the front door with a keypad security lock for self check-in. The suite includes 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom with shower/tub, and a large living room/dining space with kitchenette. Microwave and 4.5 cu ft refrigerator with separate freezer. TV options include Netflix and Sling subscription and high speed 5G wi-fi throughout the space. We usually keep the space at 74 degrees in the summer and 68 during the rest of the year. There is no thermostat in the space, but we are more than happy to adjust the temperature such that you are comfortable. Just let us know. While we would love to meet you, we will leave you alone while you are here and leave it up to you if you want to say hello. Parking is on the street in front of the house. You can park in the driveway to unload/load. If you will have more than one vehicle, arrangements can be made if we are notified before your arrival. No parties and quiet hours are 11pm-8am. No smoking anywhere on our property. If you smoke or vape, please search for a different listing that allows smoking. All recreational drug use is prohibited. If you violate this rule, you will be asked to leave immediately. Other things to note Please note that we are volunteer trainers for a local service dog organization and occasionally have service-dogs-in-training in our living space which include puppies, breeder dogs, and other male and female dogs which have not yet been neutered/spayed. For this reason, we cannot permit other animals in our guest space. Additionally, these dogs may occasionally be in our guest spaces when we do not have guests which may cause allergy issues.
