The home is ideal for proximity to mountain biking road biking hiking or a soul soothing walk. Close to casinos interstates easy access but tucked away in a serene quite neighborhood This is for you if you value peace. The desert foothills trailhead is less than a mile walk Recently renovated modern trail head. There are three bathroom stalls, one of which is large enough for wheelchair access. Water fountains are chilled, and there's even a spigot for quickly filling water bottles and bladders. A large covered area with benches at the trail entrance provides much needed shade to rest on hot days. The lower part of the path is paved and easily accessible by anyone. The upper two thirds of the path are steeper and rocky, with some large steps, but no dangerous drop-offs or slippery gravel. Once you get up to the top of Telegraph Pass you have great views of Ahwatukee to the south and downtown Phoenix to the north, and access to several other trails. Expect this trailhead to be busy in the mornings during the summer; however, once you get to the top, there is considerably less traffic on the National and Pyramid trails.
