Charming apartment in the center of Rjukan

Experience historic Rjukan! The apartment is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. The house was built in 1927 and is centrally located in Rjukan. Experience the sun in the square from the sun mirror, the stone network on Hardangervidda, a discovery tour to explore the architecture in the city, take the Krossobanen up to Hardangervidda, the Industrial Workers' Museum and the heavy water production at Vemork or try Gausta ski center and Gaustabanen up to Gaustatoppen (or a great walk). THE APARTMENT: The apartment is distributed on 3 floors. 1st floor: - Outer hallway with room for outerwear and shoes - Indoor hallway and stairs - Kitchen: combined dining table that can be pulled out and accommodate 6 people. Has both Dolce Gusto capsule machine and regular coffee maker. - Living room: dining room with room for 6 people (2 chairs are in the kitchen). Sofa bed with 140 cm double mattress (type: Ikea Vimle). 60" TV with Chromecast and cable TV from Telenor. Wireless router (300/30) with outlet for wired network (ethernet). Fireplace (bring your own wood). 2nd floor: - Bedroom 1: The largest bedroom has a 160 cm double bed (queen size) and a seating area with two chairs and a table. - Bedroom 2: 2 pieces 90 cm single beds. There is also an older TV with Chromecast, as well as board games, Donald and other magazines, hockey and football games. - Bathroom: Single whirlpool tub with shower in the bathtub (must step over high edge of the bathtub to shower). Basement: - Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer (power consumption and detergents included in the rental price) - Spacious drying room - Small freezer (approx. 100 liters volume) - Books, magazines, puzzles Outdoor: - At the front door there is room for outdoor furniture. In the summer months there will be simple outdoor furniture here - On the other side, from the living room, there is a small garden. But the garden cannot be used now, because there is no terrace there and the garden is not maintained either. - Right outside the residence is the Adminiparken. Here are great opportunities for picnics. Parking: - You can drive a car all the way to the front door to unload and load. - Park the car in the space at the garages at the entrance to the home if there is available space. Otherwise on the street just below. From the apartment you can see the top of Gaustatoppen, Gausta ski center and the upper station of Krossobanen! Other things to note Bed linens and towels are provided in the accommodation (included in the rental price). Extra pillows are also found in the closet in the smallest bedroom. Please bring your own wood if you'd like to use the fireplace. Can also be purchased at nearby stores, including Kiwi. There is no access to charge electric cars from the apartment, but it is only 50 meters to the nearest charging station (Best Rjukan Bensin). Upon arrival, it must be expected that the dishwasher is not emptied. The dishwasher is turned on upon departure. Dishwashing detergent for the entire stay is included in the rental price. Check-in is from 5 pm, but on request we will see if it is possible to check-in earlier. Will often be possible. Upon departure: - The dishwasher is turned on. - Remove bedsheets. - Bed linen and towels are placed in the washing machine and the machine is turned on before departure. - Remove garbage and dispose of it in the garbage containers by the garages. - Furniture and fixtures that may have been moved are to be put back as they were upon arrival. - Heaters are set to 22 degrees. - The key is put back in the key box.
