Amazing 1BR Granny Flat Nestled near Rocky Butte

This one bedroom "granny" flat apartment is light, bright and recently renovated. It's a great place to relax and get cozy yet be close enough to experience all that Portland has to offer. If you enjoy the snow and want to ski, snowboard or snowshoe the mountain is within an hour of Portland. Even better, if you don't want to drive you can catch the shuttle bus from the near by transit center up to the resorts. The space This centrally located east-side apartment is close to many of the top attractions in Portland. Enjoy easy access to/from the airport, downtown, and popular neighborhoods such as Alberta, Mississippi, Hawthorne, and Montavilla etc…... It is situated approximately a 10 min drive from the airport and about 10-15 min drive from the city center. It is easily accessible by the Tri-met transportation system. A light rail station is located within a reasonable walk or a short Uber/Lyft ride. This bright and clean apartment has been recently updated with new finishes and has just over 500 square feet of living space with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The bright open kitchen and living space welcome you immediately once you step inside. The apartment offers a large bedroom with a queen bed, dresser and full size closet and full size pullout sofa bed in the living room. It is a warm and comfortable retreat for anyone looking to explore what Portland has to offer, avoid staying with family, and appeals to the business traveler who wants something more than a hotel. The detached apartment is located in the quiet backyard behind the garage with a private entry. The kitchen is stocked with all the tools you need to create a great meal or enjoy great take-out or even simply a nice glass of beer or wine. The bathroom has the basic toiletries to meet your needs including a hair dryer, towels and soaps/shampoos. There is a nice patio and plenty of yard to share and enjoy if your Portland experience hasn’t taken up all your energy. It should be noted that at the apartment has been updated to have a ductless heat pump which provides efficient heating and cooling for the apartment. However, the main fan unit is located within the bedroom so for stays where guests will be utilizing the sofa sleeper and want to close the bedroom door the heating/ cooling could be impacted. Overall it should sufficiently heat or cool the unit with no issues. But to maximize efficiency and air flow it is best to keep that door open as much as possible. Guest access During a stay guest's have access to 1 parking spot in the driveway. They also have access to a shared patio space. Other things to note A friendly but large Great Dane, may greet you or throw a bark your way on your arrival. I assure you he is friendly! You also may get a greeting from our goldendoodle or Yorkie as they like to enjoy the yard as when the weather is nice . Whether you would like to meet and interact with the pups you can rest assured someone will be around to ensure a positive experience. They generally do not roam free without someone present.
