The Old Barn - Luxury country retreat with hot tub

The Old Barn is part of a stunning barn conversion renovated to the highest of standards. With pared back surroundings, beautiful original features and all you need for a home from home stay in the rolling Cheshire countryside. With a private terrace and hot tub we are also dog friendly. You have two local pubs within walking distance, further afield you can explore quaint local towns or head to the historic city of Chester. The space Step inside this recently converted barn and you are greeted with peaceful pared back surroundings, original features and everything you need for a home from home getaway. The ground floor is fully open plan with a fully equipped bespoke handmade kitchen with large breakfast bar perfect for pre dinner drinks or evening cocktails. With a farmhouse kitchen table seating 6 you have a the ideal spot for lazy breakfasts overlooking our livery yard. Opposite the kitchen is a cosy living area with corner sofa, comfy beanbag and smart TV. Accessed independently via two separate staircases you'll find our two bedrooms set in the eaves of the barn. The master bedroom has a kind size bed, ample storage and a beautifully appointed en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has the option for either king or twin beds also with ample storage and a beautiful en suite bathroom. Both rooms have smart TVs ideal for lazy lie ins or your favourite film in bed Step outside your cottage onto your own private patio enclosed by planters full of seasonal foliage. Enjoy al fresco dining on the outdoor dining table or an indulgent dip in the hot tub. Guest access Whilst you can enjoy a quiet weekend with us on foot if want to explore further a car is necessary. Although very rural we are only 15 minutes from the M56. We have a large onsite car park with an EV charger for a small fee. Our local stations are all served by connections from mainline stations. Delamere is approximately 2 miles away and Frodsham is a 6 mile drive away, both of which are serviced by trains from Chester. Acton Bridge is 2 miles away and is serviced by trains from Manchester Piccadilly. Other things to note We also welcome two well behaved dogs at a fee of £10 per dog per night, this will be charged after booking via Airbnb. We also have holiday livery for up to four horses.
