Newly renovated waterfront home on Silver Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes around Traverse City in Northwest Michigan. Enjoy the lake view from the living room and all three bedrooms. Use the private dock for all summer activities, such as swimming, fishing, waterskiing, canoeing, kayaking, or just sunbathing on our private sandy beach. Two kayaks with adult sized life jackets are available for your use. The space This charming house has two stories. The main entrance mud room opens into the island kitchen, large dining and living/family room (with gas stone fireplace), master bedroom (with walk through closet to the main bathroom), are all on the upper level. Two bedrooms, and a bathroom are on the lower level. Combined, the three bedrooms work well for 2-3 families or a small group of people to share. (4-6 adults is ideal, will accommodate up to 8 if some are small children). There are some gradual steps from the entrance to the front door, and stairs from upper level to lower level. From there, it is a straight walk out to the yard, and just a few more steps down to your private beach. The upper deck off the picturesque living room also accesses the back yard via a set of stairs The appliances in the kitchen are all brand new, including the refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, coffee maker, blender, toaster, water softener with reverse osmosis filtration, and a built-in beverage/wine cooler. So, cook in or dine out, your choice. A charcoal grill is provided off the kitchen deck. We have a fire pit on the beach. You will have a wonderful time while sitting around the fire pit and listening to the boat waves. The patios on both upper and lower levels, allow you serenity to enjoy the view while sipping coffee or your favorite beverage with family and friends. *This Lake cottage is on well water and a septic sewer system. Please honor the space and remember not to flush feminine hygiene products or baby wipes down the toilets. Septic safe toilet paper is provided for your usage during your stay. Guest access There are three parking spaces for guests. One in front of the garage (which will be locked for owner's usage only) and two in front of the garden. If additional space is required, parking along the road across the street is permitted. Being conscientious and respectful of close by neighbors and their properties is appreciated. Other things to note Please use a life jacket for all water activities. Beware of other boats, and try not to play in the middle of the lake. Boats are to navigate counterclockwise around the lake and far enough from the shore lines to avoid swimmers, docks and water toys. Watch your children when they are playing close to the waters’ edge. For their safety keep them away from the fireplace, fire pit, or grill while in use. ONLY use the built-in stairs in the middle of the retainer wall for the private beach. Place the grill on the front small rectangular deck while you're using it.
