Meet Fonzie the fuzzy alpaca, Charlotte the red-haired pig, a trio of miniature goats, and watch the parading turkeys along with many more animals that call the ranch home. When entering the space, you will instantly notice the attention to detail, soft comfortable linens and a whimsical vibe allowing you to unwind naturally. This 240-square-foot tiny house is well-curated and has everything you'll need for a short stay. It's also one of the rare tiny houses with first-floor sleeping so you won't need to climb any ladders making it easily accessible and has a small bathtub and shower. The home is our most secluded rental option at Cowtown with it's private walkway and you'll notice it's cleverly tucked away allowing our guests maximum peace and serenity. Don't forget the Garden Hideaway is just minutes from many different beaches so bring your beach towel! Also known as a Japanese sink, these sinks are popular in Asia for their ability to use fresh clean water for hand washing and then recycle into the toilet. Water is used twice; space is saved and this method of water usage is super green for the earth. We think it’s genius, but make sure you like it too! The dual-functioning bathtub/ shower is the perfect size for younger children to enjoy a bubble bath and adults can enjoy the shower. This is a curated ranch stay. Overnight guests are required to choose one ranch activity when booking. Please let Shelley know in your message which activity you are choosing. 2. What should I bring? While the tiny house is well stocked, Shelley suggests bringing drinking water, one heavy blanket for each guest for fall/winter stays and many guests like to bring a cast iron pan to cook over the fire. If you plan on cooking, bring your hot plate, instant pot, or crockpot as there is only a microwave in the tiny house. If doing "Chores N' Tour with Shelley, bring closed-toe shoes like sneakers or boots. No flip-flops or sandals are allowed on animal experiences. Keep in mind this home sleeps 2 guests with an option to message Shelley to add a 3rd guest. 3. Are the daybed trundle beds "pop-up"? No, the daybeds are as shown in the listing picture. If you're looking for a full—or queen-size bed for two people, try our "Jail Cell" glamping cabin or our barndominium with two queen beds and one full size bed. 4. Are pets allowed/ service animals? No, we do not allow any pets and are service animal-exempt due to safety issues with on-site livestock guardians. Thank you for leaving your animals at home while enjoying all 20+ of ours! 5. Can I wander around the ranch, unattended? Keep in mind we are a small ranch and while 1/2 of our property is open, the other 1/2 is livestock pastures and other Airbnb's. You cannot access the entire property due to safety reasons and our livestock habitats. You can however walk to the glampground, corn hole area, and the new horseshoe pit. 6. Can I access all the animals? The tiny house has its own, barnyard of animals that consists of miniature goats in the front yard, a fuzzy alpaca, a red-haired pig, and a parading pair of turkeys in the side yard. To access all the animal rescue part of the farm, you can opt for Chores N' Tour. Feed 20+ farm animals while learning about the history of the ranch. As a bonus, Shelley also tours any of the unoccupied rentals so you can plan your next stay! 7. What other Airbnbs are at the ranch? There is a tiny house, two bell tent yurts, mini-huts, and an entire Old West glampground at the ranch. YES! You can have friends and family rent the other units and make this a group experience. You can see all of our listings if you click our name (logo.) 8. What's the history of the ranch? The property was a horse rescue for two decades. Some students take horse lessons here and the public books guided educational tours and paint parties. 9. Can friends and family visit me while I'm at the ranch? No. The only people permitted to enter the property are registered guests. The public cannot access the property and we have a coded entrance gate. As a guest, you can expect to see other guests but not unknown people off the street. 10. Can I catch a UBER or LYFT? Yes! You can easily catch a ride to Ocean City, Maryland, or beyond. You'll need to be picked up at the entrance gate, not at the tiny house. How about food delivery? Yes! Order Doordash or pizza delivery just plan to meet your driver at the entrance gate. 11. Is there an option for early check-ins and late check-outs? No. Because this property has multiple rentals, we do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs. All cleans are performed on time. 12. Can I bring my pet or service animals? No. We do not allow any guest animals or pets to stay with us due to regulations and safety issues. We are also service animal exempt due to safety issues with nearby guardian livestock. 12. What is the smoking/ vaping policy? We operate a strict no-smoking, no vaping, no marijuana policy at all times inside all of our rentals. The next guest will appreciate an odorless welcome! 13. How secure is the ranch? The property has outdoor security cameras running and in use at all times. These outdoor security cameras help protect humans and animals alike. There's a coded entrance gate upon your arrival to the ranch and there is on-site management that is available during your stay. 14. This home has two twin-size beds and sleeps two guests comfortably *including* babies & children. Have more than two guests? Add a 3rd child guest for $25.00. Just remember to bring the 3rd guest's crib, pack-n-play, or cot. We do not accommodate more than 3 guests max at the tiny house. 15. What are the checkout procedures? We ask that our guests leave the tiny house the way they found it, (neat and tidy.) We love to brag about super clean guests who leave our home well cared for. You will find our 5-step checkout procedures on the refrigerator. Guest access Guests will have access to the tiny house, its private fenced yard, their own barnyard animals, an outdoor storage closet for additional space, and the outdoor shower rinse-up at the stables which is perfect after a day at the beach. Guests can also mosey over to the glampground area and play corn hole or horseshoes. We strictly follow Airbnb's safety policy which forbids guests from animal pastures, enclosures, gates, and going inside with animals. Shelley offers a guided ranch experience called "Chores N' Tour" to guests who'd like to join in feeding our 20+ farm animals and getting up close and personal with them. This experience is $10/ person for our on-site guests and $20/ person for the public. NOTE: We have a strict no-guest animal policy and have a service animal exemption due to safety. We ask that you be upfront about your reservation and how many people you have (with first names given) at the time of booking. Booking Authenticity: We accept guests who book using their name and registration with Airbnb. Whoever books the reservation, is the person who is allowed to check into our unit. No 3rd party check in allowed. Example- A mother booking for her daughter and boyfriend is not allowed. Only the person booking the reservation is allowed on the property with named guests. The Space: There's a good chance you’ll see farm projects being completed, livestock being moved, and gardens being cared for. The tiny cottage is near our property line with a small neighbor farm and their livestock are on the other side of the privacy fence. There's a good chance you'll see their baby goats on their "goat mountain" or hear a random cow "mooo." Privacy? The garden hideaway tiny house has a private entrance and locked garden gate. You'll follow a rock path back to the house. Tons of plants and flowers surround the home. When hanging out in the backyard/ firepit area, you may see guests about 150ft away at the barn house backyard enjoying farm life too! Please close the wooden gate and lock it to help define your space from the other Airbnb's here and ensure privacy. We’re proud to have a space-saving, eco-friendly “Sink Positive” / Japanese sink, but make sure you like it too and have seen the pictures before booking our place. Cancellation: Our cancellation policy is set to strict. No Smoking Policy: A $250.00 fee will apply if a smoke odor is found in the tiny house. Additional cleaning fees may also apply for extra cleaning. Security: A Ring doorbell camera has been installed at the tiny house. There are other security cameras at the entrance gate, stable parking lot, barn house, grooming area, and rancher parking lot. These cameras run 24/7 and are for the protection of guests, hosts, and animals alike. The Property: We live on site and our farm caters to couples and families. We are not a party spot and do not allow gatherings. Breaking this rule and having a party can terminate your booking. Airbnb also has strict anti-party rules and can end a booking for breaking their policies.
