Description
Relax and unwind in this luxury single-storey barn conversion in the North York Moors National Park, just a stone's throw from Scarborough. Superking beds, en suite bathrooms and spacious, open plan living with a solid oak kitchen and a log burning stove await. Beautiful country walks and scenery are right on the doorstep of Breaday Gill and we are perfectly located for exploring the Moors and Coast and Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. The space Breaday Gill is a contemporary and stylish barn conversion. The building dates back to the early 1800's. The original beams make a great contrast to the sleek decor and polished concrete floor. We lovingly and sympathetically renovated Breaday Gill using environmentally conscious materials to create a building which is healthy for our guests and the planet. Both superking bedrooms (one which can be arranged as a twin room) and en-suite bathrooms are located at opposite ends of the expansive living space. Relax and unwind in spacious, light filled rooms which are all underfloor heated. Breaday Gill and Folly Gill cottages can be booked together for larger groups of up to six guests. Guest access Breaday Gill is a single story barn conversion with level access, no level changes and wide doorways (minimum 89cm) throughout. The cottage is suitable for some people with limited mobility. If you wish to know whether Breaday Gill will be suitable for your needs please do not hesitate to contact us. Free off-street parking for up to 3 cars is available within the courtyard, right outside the cottage. Other things to note Breaday Gill is located in Silpho; a small hamlet tucked away at the south eastern corner of the North York Moors National Park. A 15 minute drive from the North Yorkshire Heritage Coast, Scarborough (7 miles), Whitby (15 miles) and Robin Hoods Bay (12 miles). Silpho is superbly located for walking and cycling enthusiasts and lovers of the great outdoors. Explore the spectacular hidden valleys, miles of forest tracks and areas of ancient woodland that are on our doorstep. Keep you eyes open for deer, hares, foxes, badgers, buzzards and possibly a goshawk. Nature is in abundance thanks to our peaceful location. We are also incredibly fortunate to be within a Dark Skies designated area and enjoy stunning sunsets and starry nights. Scalby is our nearest village (4 miles) which has The Plough Inn, an award winning gastro pub, The Nags Head Pub and The Yew Tree Cafe. Scalby also has a small village shop with locally made bread and cakes on offer. Please note that EV charging is via an external 13amp socket. A suitable adapter/charging cable will be required.
