The Rose Room of Meadowsweet Gardens, a restored 1895 farmhouse, has a queen bed, private bathroom, seating area with books and TV. It is a few steps from the front porch with rockers for gazing on the front garden. . Early am coffee, tea, hot chocolate isavailable. Brandy and chocolate by the bedside. Full service keurig at the top of the steps with basket of snacks and muffins in the am. Microwave by keurig for guest use Full bath with all essentials. The space Meadowsweet Gardens is a restored 1895 farmhouse nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains nearby the town of West Jefferson, NC. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, mountains stream, pond and garden house, it is sure to bring peace and tranquility to all who visit. Three bedrooms with full baths are rented individually. We have many outdoor seating areas by the stream, the pond or in one of the gardens. Our garden house is available for sitting, reading and provides a bit of whimsy. It is a few steps from the front porch complete with rockers and Adirondack chairs for gazing on the front border garden. Guest access Guests have access to the property, with its many gardens, 36 different sitting areas where one might enjoy a book or a glass of wine, as well as the dining room, parlor and sunroom. Come relax, and kick your feet up! Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, snacks and am muffins are available as well as a microwave.
