Beautiful restored church house. An old converted Sunday school to the neighbouring church, with a large open plan kitchen, living and dining areas upstairs which was formally the old schoolroom and 3 bedrooms downstairs. The house is located on a quiet country lane. And is easily accessible to a multitude beautiful beaches. Upon arrival we have a welcome pack full of local spots, best beaches, our favourite restaurants, health and wellness and surf breaks. The space As the house is a listed building, built-in 1842, great care was taken in the recent redevelopment to ensure the historical features and traditional techniques blend seamlessly with the modern comforts. All bedrooms styled with a different theme based on some of the owners favourite locations. The living area was designed for socialising. The space naturally brings you together weather your cooking, eat, working or lounging. The outside area is south facing and benefits from sun all day and again has been designed to be socialised With a large patio, outdoor cooking fire pit and furniture for your stay. The house is set in the grounds of St Pirans Church means we have an tranquil surrounding is no neighbours. The church yard is often one of our guests favourite places to explore, which historic grave stones dating back to the 1700’s with stories of Cornish pirates if the imagination allows! The property and grounds are pet friendly! The Church House has its own vegetable and salad garden. You are welcome to help yourself to anything in the garden that you like the look of! The finish to the property was carefully crafted by heritage approved tradesmen as a requirement of this listing. This includes lime plaster and mineral paints throughout. This gives a textured finish to the walls, and the paint resembles the now popular “lime wash” effect. The imperfections are international and part of the character. Please respect the craft when staying with us, as these traditional methods are not as robust as modern gypsum plaster, and are much harder to fix if damaged. Guest access All
