Cozy, private room, 15 min downtown, on bus line

Family style, fairly organized and spacious, old time architectural details, tech amenities (fast & secure WiFi, Alexa, Google Home, smart lock, nest thermostat, smart lights, motion detection kitchen faucet, etc) bright lights but lots of natural light if that’s preferable. Mostly quiet evenings. Kid friendly, literally at the corner of Frick Park. Right on bus line, near downtown and universities. Close to great food and tasty beverages. All around great location. Street parking available. The space Charming Pittsburgh style character house, access to all listed shared spaces. Back porch and deck, small backyard. Guests like to eat breakfast and or drink coffee out there a lot. Very accommodating. Please read house rules. Guest access Smart lock system by August Lock using an access keypad or app on your smartphone. You have your own physical key to your room so you can lock the room not only when you are in it if that’s your thing but you can also lock it when you leave if you want. Free laundry in the basement, not coin operated. Guests have access to the kitchen and cookware/utensils with designated space in fridge/freezer and food storage if needed. Dishwasher access and garbage disposal. Shared bathroom with limited storage options in bins on the wall (toothpaste, toothbrush, etc) and are welcome to use provided towels or your own. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc is available on the corner shelves in the shower marked “Airbnb”. Guests can use “Alexa” in bathroom if desired (trigger word is “echo” and of course free gigabit WiFi. During your stay I generally like to get an idea for what guests like and go with that, I don’t mind socializing but it’s usually brief if the toddler (likes to say hi) is around and am all for giving people space and privacy as well. I am available via phone, text, email etc. Other things to note There is no physical key for entry into the house. Use the entry keypad to the left of the door or the August Lock app on your smartphone. AirBnb has partnered with them, so you will get your own personal access code sent in your Airbnb app messages and you should automatically get an email with instructions for downloading the app and logging in with your Airbnb credentials. The lock also locks automatically.
