Living areas have TV’s with access to local channels. You will also find board games, lounging chairs and reading materials. Bathrooms have some complimentary soaps, bath towels, and hair dryers. The cobblestone streets of Nesso are a homage to Italy’s history, with many historic sites and buildings dating back centuries ago. The steep slope leading down from the village onto Lake Como offers stunning views that can't be found anywhere else. ARRIVING BY CAR: Via Borgonuovo, 31a, 22020 Nesso CO, Italy From Milan Malpensa airport: Get on the autostrada heading toward Milan. Once on the autostrada, look for an exit to the right for Como Centro. (If you would like to buy groceries for the week, as you exit the autostrada, look for the sign that says “BENNET” or G&S grocery store). Continue to Como Centro and follow the signs for Bellagio. Nesso is more or less halfway between Como and Bellagio. When you enter the town of Nesso, look for Tre Rose Restaurant & Bar. After you pass Tre Rose, you are only about a quarter of a mile from where you will turn for the house. To the left, you will see a small parking area and a bus stop. Make a sharp left here down the driveway. You will drive over two small bridges before arriving at the parking space for the property. ARRIVING BY TRAIN, THEN BY BUS OR BOAT: Take any of the trains, either Milan centrale or Milano Cadorno, from Malpensa, and stop in Saronno. Switch trains to Como Lago COMO TO NESSO BUS: Arriving in Como, across the street from the train station, you will see a bus station. Take the bus to Bellagio. Get off the bus at the last stop in Nesso called Pinino. This bus stop is directly across the street from the driveway for the property. You will cross the street and go down the small road on the left. After walking over two small bridges, you will arrive at the gate on the right marked “Rosina,” and you’ve made it! PARKING: There are two parking areas for the property. One is in front of the entrance by the gate, and the second is across the driveway next to the creek. EXTRA PARKING: Villa Rosina allows you to park one vehicle per unit. Any extra vehicles may be parked next to the church.
