Rural Stone Home with Wood Fireplace

Vacation here and wake up to one-of-a-kind mountain views. Nestled in the mountains of Terra Alta, this beautiful stone cottage is made of original medieval stone and wooden beams repurposed from the nearby old railroad. Add your memories to this historic, comfortable space. It's a peaceful, magical stay that you can enjoy with your family and friends. Outside of the cottage, there are many activities, from exploring the nearby towns and hiking trails to relaxing on the nearby beaches. The space This unique property boasts 4 distinct levels. Its main entrance is located on the ground floor. There you will find the living room with fireplace, and first full bathroom. The soft lighting of this space exudes comfort. It is the perfect setting to lay down and enjoy a movie next to a roaring fire, or have a few glasses of wine with friends. From there you can take the stairs down to the full kitchen located in the lower level. This level has street access through the back entrance door as well as a cozy dining table and washer/dryer units. The bold natural stone walls of the dining area offer a genuine rustic quality to any meal. We recommend lighting a few candles to teleport your senses back in time. Heading back upstairs, the next floor after the main ground floor is the where the first two beds are located. These are queen sized beds with full closet/dresser space and windows that grant spectacular views of the mountains as well as the quiet main entrance street. The two 'bedrooms' are not separated by a wall however we do provide a wooden screen that offers privacy between both bedroom spaces. This space is ideal for intimate friends and close families. Finally, you can head up the dazzling metal spiral staircase to the master bedroom located in the attic. This bedroom enjoys a breathtaking view of the countryside from the comfort of your bed. It also includes an open-concept charming stone paneled bathtub. A sliding wooden door provides ample privacy for the adjoining bathroom. This space is perfect for summoning the romanticist in us. After spending an indulgent morning basking in the mountain view, take to our provided desk and put pen to paper. The full stone interior and low wooden beams (and strong wifi connection) offer an ideal backdrop for all creative or professional endeavors. Guest access The entire home is open for guest access except for two armoires that are locked. Other things to note Please note that we do charge 25 euros per day for dogs. Maximum of two (2) dogs allowed. We ask that you pay upon arrival. Also note that all bookings must be two (2) night stay minimum and three (3) month maximum. This home is located in a quiet, low tourist/traffic, rural area. That being said, while this town is unequivocally authentic it does not boast much public transportation. To fully take advantage of this quaint town and the vibrant surrounding region, we recommend that guests bring a car to get around.
