The lower bedroom can be configured with either twin beds or a king. Boat and paddle board rentals are available at the Sunnyside Marina right on Balsam Lake. The marina is about a 5 minute boat ride from the cabin. They also sell gas there for power boats and tackle and bait for fishing. See their listing in the Visitor’s Guide for more information. Note: Our insurance agreement does not allow for guest use of the inside wood stove, but the firepit outside is a great place to gather. You're welcome to use any wood left onsite, but will want to bring what you think you might need since we can't guarantee stock. Guest access Guests have access to all but one room in the house that is locked for owner storage. Other things to note Due to health department regulations, we cannot have any shared use condiments or spice containers on the premises. You will find salt, pepper, coffee, tea, and cream/sugar/honey packets in the kitchens. Please bring what you will need for cooking, and take any leftover food stuffs with you when you leave. We have a barbecue grill on site, but you will need to bring your own briquets. There are 2 recycling containers located outside the upper and lower doors. They are blue and marked with a recycling sticker. Please put all CLEAN recyclables in these containers. Recycling is the law in Wisconsin. There is a garden cart for transporting items from the parking area to the back door. It is under the back steps. Please put it back in this spot for the next guests once you are done using it.
