And for a minor appropriate charge, we can custom-fit to fill all your vacation needs...even do the grocery shopping to stock it for you, or bring you breakfast in bed. Want chocolate covered strawberries or a birthday cake and card waiting for your loved one? No problem. Want designated drivers? You got em! Want to learn how to ride a Thoroughbred or Arabian horse, or take a romantic sunset trail-ride with horse-back champagne toast & amazing souvenir pictures? No extra charge for the champagne or pics... Vicky (owner/manager) is a pretty good photographer and loves to please folks. Even if you have never been on a horse, or are scared of them, we gotcha covered. Mikey (Vicky's husband & co-owner) hand-holds you through it all, ensuring a lovely experience. All the little animals here are super tame and friendly - imagine a petting zoo but with animals free-roaming (we are a certified wildlife preserve)... This quaint Old Farmhouse is super cozy enough for a couple's getaway, yet it also can be spacey enough for the entire family, sleeping from 2 to 20. How? - Lovely Queen Master #1 Bedroom downstairs is great for couples' love nest + Queen bedrooms #2 & #3 upstairs with great woods and country views + plenty of space in the reading alcove for 2-3 rollaway beds (we provide with full bedding) + 1 adult can comfortably sleep on the extra-plush couch (we provide sheets, pillows, etc) Want more beds? We can accommodate up to 20! For an additional charge, we can open up the attached apartment giving you up to 9 more sleeping, a total of 2 kitchens with all modern appliances, 2 living areas (this one has great leather recliners and an amazing big screen with surround sound...), + a lovely King bedroom + a bedroom with 2 Queen beds + pull-out Queen couch + 1 adult can comfortably sleep on the extra-plush couch (we provide sheets, pillows, etc) Guest access You will have access to the entire 30 acres of woods, domesticated/friendly farm animals, abundant wildlife, picnic tables, BBQ grills, fire pits, etc. A lovely little river-beach is 7 minutes away from your door-step, Boerne Lake is ready for your boats, kayaks, etc. 9 minutes away and the Guadalupe with ducks, geese, etc., is 10 minutes away. Other things to note At Home Away From Home Ranch, you never have to pay those high city hospitality taxes, as we are just far enough from Main Street to avoid these pesky taxes Only additional charge due before check in is 6% mandatory county hotel tax No cleaning fees as long as House Rules are respected (leave it like you found it). Otherwise, if you wish, just do nothing and we can clean it all for you. The cleanup fee ($100.00 ) will be charged from your security deposit. Pets are very much welcome! Pet fees $50.00 per pet. We have horseback riding available on site prices vary depending the amount of people that ride and the amount of time.
