Escape to our four-season waterfront property located near the town of Providence Bay on the south shore of Manitoulin Island in Ontario, Canada. This is the perfect spot if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing retreat with your own private waterfront, quiet campfires and no city lights to hide the magnificent starlit sky. Manitoulin Island is a must see – it is the world’s largest freshwater Island and has more than a hundred inland lakes between its shores! STA Licence # 2022-008 The space This peaceful cottage is privately situated on 2 acres of sunny south-facing Lake Huron shoreline. The 2 bedroom/1 bath year-round cottage has large kitchen /dining area and beautiful sunroom. 3 pc bath (tub/shower), king size bed in the main bedroom, queen size in the second bedroom and a double Murphy bed in the living room. A walkout to the deck from the sunroom gives access to the full-size propane bbq and outdoor dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove, toaster oven, blender, dishes and cookware. Take advantage of our reliable Starlink wifi, as well as Netflix access on one of the two smart TVs. The property is located directly on the water, with a gorgeous flat rock beach. If you prefer a sand beach, take a short walk down into Lonely Bay. Relax in the four-person wood-burning Sauna by the lake (firewood included) or explore the unique shoreline in a kayak. The property comes with a 4-person pedal boat, a 2-person canoe and two kayaks. In the winter, enjoy snowshoeing (2 adult sets provided), snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and more! The property is centrally located - a 5-minute drive to the Spring Bay general store, 10 minutes to Providence Bay and 15 minutes to all of the amenities that the town of Mindemoya offers. The property has beautiful gardens and green space, a large outdoor campfire area and an outdoor meditation space. Guest access The cottage is located in a quiet community.
