Our cottage, Le Nymphéa, is located on the banks of Lake Orford. It is a nice house, calm and safe. Located at the water's edge, 2 minutes walk from a craft bakery, 2 minutes by car from the village of Eastman. Other things to note Thank you for reading and agreeing to follow the rules! Policies Check-in and check-out times are, unless otherwise noted, after 4:00 PM (check-in) and before 11:00 AM (check-out). It is important to respect these times. The access code given to you at the time of your reservation is used to enter the cottage and must be entered on the front door lock. No key is necessary. For ecological reasons, we compost and recycle. We provide only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, no paper towels, aluminum foil, etc. And for hygiene reasons, we only provide salt and pepper, but no condiments or food.Bedding, towels, linens, and biodegradable dish soap, handmade soap, and cleaning products are included. If you have special requests or if you are missing anything we could provide, call us, and we will be happy to assist you. Rules: 1. Respect the property boundaries. Please do not go to neighbors’ places. When it says "PRIVATE" it's PRIVATE, do not go there! If you are unsure where the lake access is or have doubts about the property limits, call the office. No Skidoo or ATV on the property. No gas-powered boats on the lake. Thank you! 2. You must also inform the administration if you have guests. There will be an additional fee of $35.00 per night per person, $10.00 per person if that person stays only during the day. Parties or gatherings are not allowed. 3. All noise is prohibited during the night, between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM. 4. It is forbidden to feed wild animals and birds such as ducks, geese, etc. 5. Fireworks are prohibited. 6. It is forbidden to make an open fire. Please ensure that the fire pit grate is in place for both the outdoor and indoor fireplaces. Do not move the outdoor fireplaces. Never leave a fire unattended. For Cottages A and B, the indoor fireplace trapdoor is located behind the grate above the fireplace. At Caribou, the trapdoor is to the right above the stove. In the other chalets, there is no trapdoor. 7. Let’s keep nature clean as it is. Do not pick plants. 8. Your chalet should be left clean, as you found it. Additional fees will be charged otherwise. Towels, linens, and bedding must be placed in the designated laundry bag upon your departure. Dishes must be left clean and put away. Thank you 9. Additional fees will also be charged if there is damage. 10. If you move furniture, please return it to its place upon your departure. 11. Dogs must be registered and kept on a leash by their owner if outside the boundaries of the property. Regardless of your pet, we ask that there be no traces or fur left on the carpets or elsewhere when you leave. There is a vacuum cleaner and brooms available for your use. Additional charges will apply otherwise. Thank you. 12. You must have left the premises by 11:00 AM. After 11:00, unless an agreement has been made with management, you will be charged $20 for every half hour. Please respect the rules. We wish you an excellent stay.
