Ryan and I are certain you will love Newberry's friendly "small town" atmosphere. Our home was built in the late 1800's. It provides visitors with an eclectic blend of "old house" charm and modern updates within walking distance to the Newberry Opera House and wonderful downtown restaurants. The house features over 3,600 square feet of high ceilings, heavy pocket doors for privacy, three fireplaces, four bedrooms with three queen and two twin beds, 3.5 baths..and a wonderful front porch. Be sure to examine the photograph located in the downstairs bedroom of Isaac Hunt, the original occupant. The original photograph was unearthed on the property during renovations. Our research tells us that Mr. Hunt fought for the Confederacy in the Civil War and lived to tell his accounts of ir. However, there is something quite odd about the photograph.
