Door County, Wisconsin is a special place in it's own right but Ephraim is a quiet village perfect for families that want to experience an authentic Door County vacation. Families can experience a simpler life, couples can reignite the flame, outdoor enthusiasts can hike, bike or kayak, gals that want girl time can shop til they drop, guys that love to boat, fish, and golf can, and for everyone else in between you'll feel at home while staying in your cottage on 3 acres in gorgeous Door County. The space This cottage is one bedroom with a king size bed, large flat screen TV with Spectrum cable, boosted WiFi, fully equipped apartment size kitchen with everything needed to prepare three meals a day, fireplace and bathroom with a stand-up shower (no bathtub). It is important to note that the standup shower is not a good fit for tall and/or wider guests. It is impossible to bend and shave while standing in this shower. Guests enjoy a deck complete with deck chairs, BBQ grill, and picnic table. Parking is directly in front of the cottage and can accommodate two cars or one car and a trailer. This cottage is a duplex. The wall that divides the duplex is the kitchen and bathroom wall. The bedroom and living room walls are exterior walls. Guest access You will receive a door code around 12:00 p.m. noon on the day of check-in. Other things to note You will want to bring the following items for your stay: 1. Towels. Bring your own towels or rent towels (bath, kitchen, beach) from the host via the pre-arrival text listing upgrades. Towel rentals are $5/person/set. Beach towels are an extra $5/person. 2. Charcoal and lighter fluid if you enjoy grilling (we may have some left over from guests) 2. Doggie bed, crate, bowls, towels for muddy feet and doggie duty bags. 3. Spices/Salt/Pepper as well as foil, plastic wrap, ziploc bags, and food storage containers. 4. Ice. Bags available for $5/each. 5. Firewood is available for the fireplace for $5/bundle which includes a handful of kindling, newspaper, and a fire starter. To maintain pest control, do not bring wood in from the outside.
