The space The Guest House has stunning views of the mountain from the kitchen, dining room, and living room that will leave you in awe, especially during the alpenglow, when the sun sets and bathes the mountain in brilliant colors of pink, purple and orange. The Guest House sits on the second story above the garage on 5 landscaped acres, which allows for the best opportunity for magnificent views. Your hosts live in the adjacent main house and are readily available for any questions. The secluded property has a gated entry and paved private drive that allows for peace and quiet while you relax and unwind. This is a perfect all-year-round vacation spot that accommodates up to 6 people with 2 bedrooms (each with a queen bed) and 1 bath, and an additional full futon in the living room. Guest access The idyllic location of our Guest House is completely surrounded by nature but also only a 15 minute walk to downtown where you’ll have access to grocery stores, a yoga studio, post office, laundromat, rental equipment shops, gift shops, coffee shops, restaurants and more. We are a 20 minute drive to Mt. Shasta Ski Park, 15 minutes from the Nordic Center, and also conveniently located just up the street from Shastice Park, which hosts outdoor concerts in the summer and an ice skating rink in the winter.
