Maunder Cottage Aldinga Township

We recognize the Kaurna people whose land holds our little cottage. Situated in Aldinga Township Maunder Cottage is a beautiful stone cottage that is self contained. It has one bedroom with Queen size bed. It has a fully renovated bathroom with a deep bath suitable for two people. The walls in the lounge room are made from limestone dug from the property. The building itself used to be the vets. We live in the house adjacent to the cottage. Our home was built in 1842. The space The cottage is a four room building. The kitchen/dining is a large room with full kitchen. Ideally suited for a couple we can also accomodate a baby or toddler with a porta cot or bassinet available upon request along with anything a new family would need also. Change table, toys, slide, high chair etc. We aim to provide a retreat, the garden is something we are passionate about. The township itself is a two minute walk up the hill and has so many options for dining or a cheeky brew at the pub or the Kick Back Brewery. The bedroom has a queen size bed. The lounge is a large room and is designed to be comfy and relaxing. Stream something on the smart TV or read a book and just snooze. There is a deck outside to enjoy the garden, have a BBQ or just chill. Everything is so close to this location, beaches, wineries and on and on I could go. Guest access The cottage is self contained and all of it is for guest usage. It has a private, undercover car park and a garden for guest use. Other things to note If a guest has a special request we will endeavour to help in any way we can. We do get Corellas from January onward as they are seasonal bird. They can be heard coming in at dusk as they settle into their roots for the night. They are part of life here in the heritage township with large old gums. The cottage is sound proofed as much as possible. It is a part of the natural environs and we have lived with them for many years, for us they are the sound of summer. It is important for us to be open with guests. Thank you.
