Victoria Quays on Wyre was originally built in 1836, when Fleetwood was first conceived by Sir Peter Hesketh-Fleetwood and architect Decimus Burton. This beautiful property is Grade II listed and previously known as the Victoria Public Hotel was the oldest pub in Fleetwood until it served its last orders in 2010. Now we are delighted to have the opportunity of renovating this beautiful property, welcoming guests and we will have 10 beautiful, quality, luxurious apartments available in time. The space VQ Apartment 4 is situated on the first floor accessible by a flight of stairs. This is a beautiful appointed and cozy, self-contained apartment, which offers a twin bedded rooms, a separate main bathroom which includes a bath with handheld shower. The living/dining room includes a sofa, Smart TV (for viewing streamed App TV), dining table. The kitchen is a separate room. From this first floor vantage, you have views over the courtyard at the rear of the property and Fleetwood Market. We hope to provide you with a home-from-home experience during your stay. Your professionally trained hosts will meet and greet you upon arrival and are available to assist with any queries and recommendations for during your visit. Some free parking is available at the front of the property or alternatively there is a very reasonably priced long stay car park just around the corner. Guest access From entering the building from the front door, you enter into a beautiful black and white chequered tiled hallway and find the stairs to lead you up to the first floor, where you will find your apartment. On the ground floor level, you have access to the secure, cobbled courtyard at the rear of the building, where you can enjoy the space with garden furniture available. Other things to note Fleetwood is an interesting Victorian town, once a major fishing port with railway links in its heyday! Now has many places of interest near and far and if you would like to travel into Blackpool, our tramway is only a 3-minute walk to the nearest tram stops. We are just around the corner from the infamous and very popular Fleetwood Market. A short walk to the iconic Mount Pavilion, Marine Hal and its gardens with a wonderful promenade and views across the Morecambe Bay to the South Lakes. If travelling with your dog, your hosts can recommend some wonderful walks along the beach and surrounding areas.
