Chuckanut Bay View House - The Crow's Nest - is overlooking Chuckanut Bay. This is one of the Pacific Northwest's premier properties with 180 degrees of beautiful San Juan Islands views. Walk out the door to explore the Chuckanut Bay area, Larrabe State Park, hike or bike hundreds of miles of trails on Chuckanut Mountain, or drive 10 minutes / bike 20 minutes on the INterurban trail into Historic Fairhaven or Bellingham to explore local artisan shops, restaurants and brewpubs. The space The house was designed and built by the owners between 2008-2012. This house has beautiful modern interior geometric lines with a rustic Northwest beach house exterior. There are 3 floors of beautifully designed and decorated home. On the first floor is the Master Bedroom with in-room bathroom and a second Bedroom with full bathroom adjacent in the hallway. Between the 2 bedrooms is a quaint, sunny sitting/reading room and your own large private lower deck. The main floor has the kitchen, dining room and living room with a gas stove, a huge deck with Adirondack Chairs, Sun Umbrellas, Gas BBQ and 180 degree views throughout. The third floor is the Master Bedroom Suite with a stunning “Crow’s Nest” view of Chuckanut Bay and the San Juan Islands! The kitchen has a large island with second food prep sink, all brand new appliances and is well stocked with everything you’d expect at home plus food processor, blender, juicer, electric drip and french press coffee makers. Bathrooms are equipped with towels, liquid hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. Guest access Entire house and decks. Garage may be used by owner for storage and might not be available. Other things to note The house is accessed through the front door and garage directly off of Chuckanut Drive. There is also access to/from the lower deck from the drive.
