Minutes from the fantastic restaurants, shops and night life of the Country Club Plaza you will be in great spot to take in all that the city has to offer. You may however decide that staying in is more to your fancy and we wouldn’t blame you with a charming but spacious living space offering a uniquely Kansas City feel. The space is a full apartment (upper level of a duplex) three bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen and a living room/dining room The house is a duplex and Andrew and Emma (The hosts) along with their dogs Zoey and Dwight live on the ground floor. If you need anything at all that could make your stay more comfortable please don’t hesitate to knock on the door or send a quick message and they will do all they can to assist. Check in and check out can be done without interaction with hosts. We will be available as much, or as little, as needed/wanted. If you want to stop by and chat we would love to meet you, if you want your own space we more then understand We take so much pride in Kansas City, our neighborhood and our home. The neighborhood you are in is a Kansas City hidden gem, you are situated directly in between Ward Parkway and State Line, these streets will take you anywhere you need to go! Around Westwood park and West Plaza, you will find excellent parks, the CUTEST coffee shop, eccentric antiques, home good store, bars and restaurants. The Country Club Plaza is about a 10-15-minute walk depending on where you are going. The Plaza offers shopping, museums, art and dining. Our neighborhood was developed around 1913 and our house was one of the originals and first. We love that our home has seen the growth of Kansas City and we hope that you love it as much as we do. I could talk your ear off about fun things to do in KC and jump at any opportunities to offer suggestions, so please do not hesitate to reach out and ask. We suggest Uber for getting around this part of the city, there are also bird scooters everywhere (when it warms up!) if you go downtown the street car is perfect for seeing the sites Full transparency, this is an older property, it is extremely comfortable, well decorated and clean however the bathroom does need updating (the shower head is lower than we’d like it to be) and there are a couple of creeky floorboards! We plan to update these items sometime in the not too distant future. If what you’re looking for is a newer place to stay though we might not be for you. Otherwise we’d love you have you 😁 We also have two dogs (Zoey and Dwight) who will bark when you come in the main door. We also ask that you do not use the balcony as the railing is a little low for our comfort and liability. Thank you for understanding
