My place is close to Purdue University (8 minutes to the middle of campus). You’ll love my place because of the huge yard with fire pit, quiet neighborhood, rooms that are spacious and well decorated, a very large kitchen, family room and fireplace. We also have a large video projection and sound system for all of your tv/movie watching needs. My place is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. This is a good sized 2 story house with a full basement. The video room is a blast and the sound system enhances the experience. The bedrooms have queen sized beds (master and 1 bedroom upstairs) or double beds (1 bedroom upstairs and basement bedroom). There is a double sized sleeper couch in the video room. The kitchen is large with a huge amount of cabinet and pantry space. Plenty of seating for up to 15 or so. You will have access to the full house except for one of the basement storage rooms. I will be available via cell phone, text, and email at all times. No worries with that. I also have a second person who will be helping just in case I need to be away. You should have access at all times. This is a quiet neighborhood with lots of trees, families, and pets. You will see that we live about 1/4 mile from McCutcheon High School, so Friday nights in September and October you might hear the announcer at the football game or the fireworks explode as the home team scores. The neighbors are great - friendy and full of advice. Parking is no problem as we have garage, large driveway, and plenty of space within the cul-de-sac. There is no public transportation that comes out to our subdivision (we are actually just outside the city limits). However, the city bus system can be picked up 2 miles away at the closest grocery store. Car rental places abound at various locations throughout Lafayette and at the Purdue airport. I have used Uber and/or Lyft when I've needed a quick ride and they seem to be readily available. I go to and from Purdue University each day and I know where and how to park (always a problem). Just let me know if you are doing anything with Purdue and we'll figure out the easiest/best way to get you to where you need to go.
