Rivendell Lodge sleeps up to 12 people and is ideally suited for more than one family. A classic designed, double storey log timber country cottage built around a massive living space. A large yard leads into the bush – immerse yourself in Australian wildlife with trees for miles, and friendly kangaroos, kookaburras and possums right on your doorstep. The space The space Bedrooms: Rivendell Lodge has five bedrooms and two bathrooms, with three toilets. There are three bedrooms upstairs 2 have queen size beds and the master has a king size bed.The large bedroom windows take in the breathtaking views of the natural bush setting. A balcony off the master bedroom overlooks the valley and down to the creek. Downstairs, the fourth bedroom has queen bed and single bed, and the fifth bedroom has a queen bed and a single bed. The Lodge has gas hot water system, and both bathrooms are tastefully decorated. Home has laundry with washer and dryer. All beds have quality linen and towels. There is also a cot and a high-chair available Living spaces: Rivendell Lodge is built around a massive living space, sized over 100sqm and incorporating high ceilings and natural slate floors. The kitchen features a 900mm oven – perfect for cooking for large groups – and dishwasher; and overlooks the outdoor living area. Living room features huge dining setting and ample seating; TV, DVD player and games are available. There is also a pool table. A slow combustion fire warms the space in winter, and ducted air-conditioning creates a tranquil atmosphere for summer. Outdoors: Patio area features seating, outdoor lounge and barbecue. There is a double carport. Guest access Rivendell Lodge is part of Rivendell Winery Estate. Wander around the beautiful gardens and utilise the tennis court. Cellar door on site, open Thursday - Sunday for tastings and both hot and cold food offerings, including pizzas and platters. The cellar door also offers hot drinks and a full bar. Spot the kangaroos in the evening or early morning Other things to note Rivendell is a unique stay as it is offers the safety and security of a private estate; yet the peace and seclusion of the bush setting.
