The space Peace and quiet, birds and other wildlife, awesome sunsets - and only 5 minutes to the freeway! (10 minutes to downtown Tucson). Easy access to many of our local attractions - and to the Gem & Mineral Shows. If you like peace and quiet, along with convenience of close to town, then this is the place for you. This studio space is sited on a hill in a quiet cul-de-sac and is surrounded by the plants and animals of the Sonoran Desert. Hiking nearby (0.6 miles and 4 miles) or 10 minutes to the night life of downtown Tucson. No wifi or television but there is a DVD player if you don't want to read or play some of the games provided. So far all major cellular services work in the space. Guests get their own unique entry code. Also a private gravel driveway (see NOTICE!), kitchenette with microwave, coffeemaker, toaster oven, hot plate and full fridge. Full bath, living area with couch and a recliner. Queen bed. Outdoor seating to enjoy the sunsets. No interaction with the host, but we are a phone call away if you need something. We can trot down the path to help. Check the house notebook (in the house) for more details. Ours is a quiet desert neighborhood with all homes on lots of one acre or more. As we are in the desert, there will be the possibility of wildlife outside the home. If this concerns you please consider another place. You will need your own transportation. We also have some information on all the wildlife you may encounter and how to be safe in the Sonoran Desert. Guest access The entire space is your own, with your own private driveway, personal patio with lawn furniture, and washer & dryer in the laundry room beside your front door. We are a fragrance-free space so we ask that you use the fragrance-free laundry soap provided. If you need more we will provide. Other things to note It is quiet out here. At night the sound of silence can be thunderous if you are not used to it. Wonderfully relaxing if you prefer quiet.
