Welcome to "Sea-renity" as your seaside getaway in the Bodega Harbour community! With breathtaking panoramic ocean views, imagine yourself watching the sunset from the back deck or the comfort of the living room. This premium open-concept home in a quiet residential loop has two en-suite bedrooms plus a large airy loft as a third bedroom. Just a quarter-mile walk to the beach. Relax by a cozy fire in the wood-burning fireplace, or soak in the new 5-person in-deck hot tub overlooking the ocean. This home was recently updated, so everything is FRESH! Updates include bedroom carpets, sustainably sourced bamboo wood floors, furniture, beds, bedding, towels, LG washer & dryer, refrigerator, small appliances, and kitchenware. Each of the bedrooms has a Sealy Posturepedic Hybrid Firm mattress with a cloud-soft down alternative comforter and a variety of hypoallergenic pillows. Bedroom 1 - Master bedroom with vaulted ceilings and King bed with a large closet and ensuite bath. You can see the ocean from the bedroom window. The Master bath has gorgeous green marble countertops with two sinks and heated floors. There is a hairdryer and a lighted makeup mirror. Extra bath and beach towels are in the tall linen cabinet. The step-free shower has a seat and dual showerheads. Bedroom 2 - Vaulted ceilings with a Queen bed and a large closet. Private entrance to the Jack and Jill bathroom with a shower over tub and heated floors. Bedroom 3/Loft - Upstairs with a King bed and a 43” Samsung 4K Smart TV with cable. There are no blinds on the windows (best room for the early risers!) so you see the ocean from your bed! Living Room - Relax next to a wood-burning fire and 65” Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV with cable and Bose Sound System. The sofa converts to a Queen size hide-a-bed. There is also a day bed in the common area that can be easily used as an additional single bed! Board games are in the bookcase cabinet. Kitchen - Has quality JennAir stainless steel appliances and a gas stove. Small appliances include a dual coffeemaker (for a full pot or single K-Cup pod), coffee grinder, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, Instant Pot with sous vide capabilities, food processor, blender, and waffle iron. There are full sets of pots & pans, mixing bowls, utensils, and measuring cups. We provide salt, pepper, basic spices, and olive oil for cooking. There are ample dishes, flatware, and glassware. Dining - The table seats 8 in cushioned chairs, as well as placemats and cloth napkins for semi-formal dining. There is also a console table behind the sofa that seats an additional 4 people in cushioned stools (the perfect vantage point for watching TV with a snack!). Two additional chairs are set in the nook by the kitchen. Garage - Inside the 2-car garage we have a folding ping pong table. Here you will also find beach chairs, a beach umbrella, sand toys, a high chair and Pak-and-Play crib. Outside - There are plenty of areas to linger and enjoy the views with a glass of wine. There is a fire pit table, 4 Adirondack chairs, and lots of plush lounge seating. There is a premium Napoleon propane grill with 1800F infrared sear station and rotisserie. If you sprinkle birdseed in the backyard, local deer and birds will often visit. Birdseed is provided inside the pantry in a canister. The front courtyard is a wonderfully secluded area to grill out or to enjoy the morning sun. It also works nicely as a secure play area for your kids. In the central hallway closets you will find the washer & dryer, extra linens, and cleaning supplies. Guests who stay in the loft can use the closet at the base of the stairs to hang their clothing. Traveling with a child? There is also a folding Graco pack n play, a high chair, booster, and a baby gate to accommodate families with infants or small children. We usually have firewood in the courtyard shed. You may want to bring your own kindling. There are beach chairs, an ice chest, and an umbrella in the garage for your use on the beach. The property does not have air conditioning. We are always available by phone or text to help. We've made every effort to make your visit seamless, pleasant, and comfortable. Access to your professionally cleaned, sanitized home is convenient. The front door has a keypad with a unique code for you, so there are no keys to exchange. We have an extensive printed manual available on site, as well as a detailed guest website that can answer most questions you might have during your stay. Guests will have access to the entire home, BBQ, new private 5-person hot tub, beach walks, and everything else Bodega Bay has to offer. There are many great restaurants in the area as well as many local festivals throughout the year! Golfer’s Paradise! The Links at Bodega Harbour is just a hole-in-one away within our community. Experience the beauty of a true Scottish style links course designed by Trent Jones. From the rolling fairways of the front nine to the fabulous ocean views from each of its 18 holes, you will see why it’s been rated as one of Northern California’s top ten courses to play. Bodega Harbour vacation renters have access to the Renters can use the community playground, basketball court, tennis court, pickleball court, bocce courts, and clubhouse beach access. You can book a golf tee time at The Links at Bodega Harbour. Bluewater Bistro restaurant is at the Bodega Harbour clubhouse and is open to all with a full bar and casual dining. Two hiking trails are within walking distance of the house. Pinnacle Gulch Trail and Shorttail Gulch Trail both lead to the beach and tidepools. We regret that renters do not have access to the clubhouse pool, gym or locker room. We feel the most direct and scenic route to Bodega Bay from either the Bay Area or Sacramento is via Hwy 101 to East Washington Street in Petaluma (Exit 474). - FROM THE BAY AREA - Get to Golden Gate Bridge / US-101 Northbound about 40 miles to exit 474 toward E Washington Street and turn left (West). - FROM THE SACRAMENTO AREA - I-80 West to Vallejo Exit 33B to take CA-37 West for 15.4 miles Right on Lakeville Hwy / 116 for 11.1 miles Right to merge onto US-101 N for 1 mile Exit 474: E Washington Street turn left (West) - FROM EAST WASHINGTON - Heading westbound, East Washington Street turns into Bodega Ave as it goes through town. Stay on this road for about 26 miles, all the way to the Bodega Harbour community. The road will change names to Valley Ford Rd and then CA-1 North. Once you are through Petaluma, enjoy the scenic drive with rolling green farmlands, happy cows, and frolicking sheep. Cell service on this stretch of road can be unpredictable but usually regains stability as you approach Bodega Bay. You may consider stopping to shop for groceries and necessities as you drive through Petaluma, as shopping in Bodega Bay is more limited. You will find a Target, Whole Foods, and Safeway store within the first few miles of E Washington. After 26 miles, turn Left onto Harbour Way into the Bodega Harbour community. Please keep your speed at the posted 25 MPH max, there are usually lots of hikers and dogs, deer, etc. Once you turn into the Bodega Harbour community, here is how to navigate to the house: Turn Left onto Harbour Way into the Bodega Harbour community. Immediate Left on Heron Dr for 0.9 miles. Left onto Mockingbird Dr for 0.3 miles.
