The space As most waterfront properties in the greater Tampa area, the resort did suffer damages due to the last two hurricanes in Oct. 2024. The Suite is 100% with internet and cable working. Still offering awesome sunset views over The Bay! Most of the amenities are available. Below is a list of the damages: 1) The pool is now fully functional! The brand new heater is installed and working. The poolside bar/restaurant is open regular hours with full menu. 2) As of 02/01/25, the "beach" area is back to 100%! The area has new sand that has to be replaced. The fire pit has been installed. There are new tiki tables and grills. The volleyball net is back. Please know this is a "beach area" that does not provide swimming in The Bay. It provides chairs, tiki tables, tiki torches at night, fire pit at night, grills, volleyball pit and swing with excellent views of the Bay. A public beach, Ben T Davis Beach, is less than 1 mile away. 3) As of 01/11/2025 both elevators are working! 4) A few of the stairwells had some structural damages. Not the ones closest to the Suite. They only had cosmetic damages. As of Oct. 2025 the structural damages stairwells ones are being worked on and my be closed. The ones closest to the suite are are having some work being done but ARE both functional. All stairwell work is to be completed by mid Dec. 2025! 5) The adjacent sundeck and pier are the only amenities not open. Permits are needed to rebuild and county is behind on issuing them. As mentioned, the Suite is 100% with internet and cable working. This remodeled and updated, fully furnished 1 bedroom/1 bathroom Suite offers a clean, spacious and relaxing environment. It also has a more open floor plan compared to other Sailport Suites. The Suite provides your own private balcony, facing west, with views of the pool and incredible sunsets over the bay. Every night will provide unbelievable picture opportunities. Complimentary FREE wi-fi and parking is provided as well. The Suite has new stainless steel appliances, granite kitchen countertops, large tiled shower and bathroom floor, granite bathroom countertop, efficient work space, gourmet kitchen, wall mounted bar, and cable. The bedroom has a Queen bed with memory foam mattress, beveled mirror closet doors, and mood lighting that changes color to fit your preference. The stylish living room futon also converts to a comfortable queen sized bed - blanket, sheets and pillows are conveniently found in the bedroom closet. This Suite has been thoughtfully designed, decorated and supplied with everything in mind to ensure a comfortable, relaxing and memorable stay for it's guests. Guest access Additional access to bayside heat pool and large sun deck, a beautiful fishing pier, beach fire pit, outdoor grills, outdoor fitness area, full-sized beach volleyball court, 24 hr security, 24 hr front desk with convenient store and helpful business center, and business/meeting room available upon request. We also have a poolside restaurant/bar called Big Bamboo Bayside serving a blend of Mexican, American and seafood appetizers and entrees along with beverages (non-alcohol and adult). This is the only all-waterfront resort in the city limits. Typically someone has to drive 30-40 minutes to the Gulf to find such a tropical, relaxing, beach atmosphere.
