A guesthouse (casita) within a 1-acre compound that’s 8 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes to the Strip and less than 15 minutes from the new Allegiant Stadium. The casita consists of 3 mini-suites (a bedroom with private full bathroom), a living/dining room, full kitchen, laundry and powder room. All the suites as a minimum are furnished with a queen bed, spacious closet with hangers, desk, nightstand and lamp, hamper, folding luggage rack, hair dryer, and linens and towels. —Living/dining area has a TV with local channels and WiFi accessibility (Netflix for guests), dining for 6 plus (4 chairs at the counter and 2 at the folded dining table). —kitchen is complete with all large appliances and many small appliances to prepare multi-course family meals if desired. —Laundry room has washer, dryer and detergent The fully equipped kitchen includes a side-by-side refrigerator, a stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, and hot water kettle. An array of pots and pans a complete dinnerware set for 6 including serving ware. The kitchen is separated from the living room by a peninsula dining counter/ bar that sits 6 comfortably. There is also a counter-height cafe table. The living room has plenty of seating for socializing or watching TV. There is no cable but there is Netflix and the internet is good. However, when streaming on TV it can sometimes take unwelcomed pauses. The bathrooms have great water pressure and plenty of very soft hot water. There is also a separate powder room across from the laundry area—total of 3 1/2 bathrooms. Besides having access to the pool, spa and integrated patio, guests are welcome to use either or both the outdoor George Foreman Grill or the large propane barbecue grill. Although residents of the guesthouse do not have a private covered patio they are welcome to use the main house covered patio with its misters. Please note the spa and the pool can be heated separately, but are normally not due to the expense. At the guest request both spa and pool can be heated. However, to heat the pool we need to charge $100-$125 (depends on time of year) fee for the first day of heating and $75 for each additional day of heating. The spa takes about 30 minutes to heat up and will be done at the guest’s request at no charge. In the summer the pool water temperature is over 80 degrees so for most people this is more than adequate. Guest access All guests have free access to the pool, spa, pickle-ball court, bocce court, exercise room, the patio outdoor dining table and chairs, and the BBQ and lounge chairs. The pickle-ball and bocce ball equipment is in the exercise room. Other things to note I can not stress enough the importance of being vigilant around the pool. The deepest water is in the main pool where the center is just shy of 5’ deep. Children have a tendency to wander off unnoticed—an unfenced pool is not suitable for children to be around.
