The Shire on Sanderlin rests at 2,500 ft of elevation on Sanderlin Mountain inside the gates of Big Canoe, just one hour north of Atlanta. Big Canoe is Georgia’s premier gated mountain community, which includes 27 holes of golf, indoor and outdoor tennis, multiple swimming pools, 3 lakes for fishing and boating, hiking & biking trails, and a beautiful beach at Lake Disharoon with rock slides, inflatable water attraction, kayaks and stand up paddle boards. From the main level of the house you will be able to enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Petit, McElroy Mountain, Potts Mountain, Sawnee Mountain and even Stone Mountain and the Atlanta Skyline during parts of the year. The home has large, wide open spaces for entertaining quite a few guests at the same time. In and around the home you will find many spots to relax with a cup of tea and a good book when the mood strikes. Or enjoy ping pong, foosball, arcade basketball or board games when you desire competition. At meal time, enjoy relaxing around the custom farmhouse table which seats 12. There are 4 bedrooms but plenty of sleeping space. The bedrooms comprise of the following: MAIN FLOOR: Master Bedroom: (1) King Bed and Full Bathroom plus an additional Queen bed in the loft above the master bedroom. * An additional full bathroom is also located on the main floor TERRACE LEVEL: Bedroom 1: (1) King and (1) Double Bed, plus a Bunk Bed (2 single beds) in room adjacent to bedroom. Attached to bedroom is a full bath. Bedroom 2: (1) King bed sharing jack & jill bathroom Bedroom 3: Bunk Bed with Trundle (bunk bed has 1 single & 1 double bed and the trundle is a single bed) sharing jack & jill bathroom UPSTAIRS LOFT: Located above living room; there is a day bed with a trundle (both single beds) In addition to the bedrooms, the home also contains a large game-room with Ping Pong, Foosball, and Arcade Basketball; a “kids cave” with bean bags and a Roku TV that can be hooked up to a gaming system; and 2 large decks with great views!
