Spacious room with double and twin beds, and desk if you need to work. Beautiful view of the garden out upper story windows. Hamilton Place is close to Georgia Southern University, high schools, Mill Creek Park, and the Statesboro city center where art and culture abound. Great for couples, families with kids, and furry friends. The space My house was built in the late 1890's long before air conditioning, so the rooms are large with high ceilings. The East and South porch is covered to provide pleasant sitting places, out of the summer sun. We have about 6 acres of piney wood, hay fields, and my garden area. Nice areas to walk and do birding. In the winter months, the old camellia bushes that surround the east side are full of blooms, accompanied by narcissus, azaleas in mid-spring, and roses and annuals for the summer and fall. The blueberry bushes are ready in June and the figs in July. The flock of Hamilton Hens lay at will. Possums eat the cats' food nightly outside my bedroom door. Deer visit their lick behind the old barn. My dog accepts them all as family. Guest access The entire top floor of my home is prepared for guests and includes 4 bedrooms.
