The lodgings of La Croix Liaud welcome you to the countryside, in a restored and modernized . The 50m2 heated swimming pool, the garden (shaded patio, lawn and picnic table), the leisure room (billiards, table tennis, table football and games for children) will let you unwind and relax. Our location lets you access a wide array of nearby activities (Puy du fou, the sea, Poitevin Marsh, bungee jumping, zoo, Forest of Mervent, various amusement parks) with something to appeal to everyone. The space On the ground floor, you'll find a large room with a lounge (TV), dining room and open-plan kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen has all the necessary equipment for short or prolonged stays: - stove with gas oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine - classic coffee maker (filter), a “Dolce Gusto” pod coffee maker, French press coffee maker upstairs are two bedrooms, a bathroom and toilets. • The master bedroom and its bathroom (with toilet). The 180x200cm bed can be configured into 2 separate 90x200cm beds upon request. • The second bedroom for 3 people, equipped with a 140x190 bed and a 90x200 bed. “On the same landing, the bathroom adjoins the 2 bedrooms” The stone walls and the cozy atmosphere give a character to the whole. The cottage is covered by a high-performance private wifi network. The 50m2 swimming pool, (heated by a heat pump), is open from May (if the climate permits) to September included. All the facilities: swimming pool, leisure room, (billiards, table football, ping-pong, board games, etc.) and the exteriors are at your disposal and shared between all travelers. The cottage has access to - it’s own private terrace (table, chairs and umbrella) with barbecue. - the private parking This cottage for 5 people is part of a set of 3 independent cottages with a total capacity of 13 people. Guest access We are located in the countryside, north of Fontenay le Comte (motorway) near the Forest of Mervent, 35 minutes from Puy du Fou and 20 minutes from the Poitevin marsh. Typing “La Croix Liaud” into your GPS will lead you to us directly. You will find all the necessary shops nearby: - Vouvant (5 minutes): bakery and grocery store - La Châtaigneraie (7 minutes): Super U, Intermarché, Lidl, all shops. Within a 30-minute radius, you will find a multitude of activities, tourist visits, walks, etc.: You like to stroll around town with your nose in the wind! Visit the renaissance town of Fontenay Le Comte, the characterful towns of Vouvant, Nieul sur l’Autise, Foussais-Payré. With your head in the stars, then the Planetarium of La Chapelle aux Lys is made for you. If, on the contrary, you want to cool off underground, discover the Faymoreau Mining Center.
