Miles and miles of mountain views! The home is on Stratton, 5 minutes from the front door to the slopes, and is an amazing location to take in the fall foliage or enjoy the fresh summer air. With five bedrooms and three bathrooms, this home offers a high-quality traditional Vermont experience, and has two family rooms, a game room, a hot tub, and a woodburning stove. Whether your group wants to stay in and relax or explore the best that Southern Vermont can offer, this home has you covered! The space Five bedrooms are spread on three floors and can sleep up to 12 (10 adults max), with an en-suite master bedroom on the main floor that has an incredible view of the mountains. The remaining four bedrooms have easy access to a bathroom, and we provide fresh towels and linens for every stay. On the main floor is a family room with a large flat screen TV and a woodburning stove, and a well-stocked kitchen that has top end appliances, including a double oven for those more complex meals. The dining table is next to the kitchen and seats up to eight people comfortably. The lower level also has a family room with a flat screen TV, as well as a game room with ping-pong and foosball. The entire house is covered by wi-fi with fiber speeds, which means the entire group can be online without worrying about lagging out. Outside on the upper deck, with an incredible view, is an eight-person hot tub that is available year-round, and is serviced frequently by a professional. Firewood can be found on the upper deck next to the kitchen. The back yard is private, ringed by trees, and has a firepit. For those looking for private chefs, catering, grocery delivery, wine and beer tastings, in-house pampering, restaurant reservations, and more, we have a concierge service and would be happy to provide their contact information after a booking! Other things to note We like to provide our guests with some ideas on how to make the most of their precious vacation days, whether you plan on staying in and relaxing, or if you are looking for an adventure! After waking up and putting on a pot of your favorite coffee (we have a traditional drip coffee maker) or tea, we recommend enjoying your caffeine on the back porch, taking in the fresh Vermont air. For our cold-weather guests, we also recommend lighting the woodburning stove, which will provide the home with a warmth that is incredible and hard to describe. For those who are staying in, you can curl up with a good book in the reading area on the top floor, or outside on the deck. You can also hunt for firewood for the firepit on the property, and create a stack to light as the sun sets. We also recommend setting up a friendly foosball and/or ping-pong tournament, with bragging rights or a friendly wager that goes to the victor. Or maybe you just want to slow down and catch up on a movie you have been wanting to see. For those who are going out, in winter, the answer is easy. A quick 5 minutes away is Stratton, which means you can get in two or three ski sessions a day, while recovering and refueling at the house in between. Stratton is great in the warm season as well, with a golf course, hiking trails, and summer activities that you can find on their website. There is also fishing, once you purchase your license you will be provided with a ton of material by the State of Vermont to assist you in your angling adventure. Then, as the sun sets, enjoy a glass of your favorite beverage, and spend some time in the hot tub, which is especially great if it is snowing, or when there is a chill in the air, and take in the views as the sun sets. Or your group can gather around the firepit, and listen to the cracking fire and sounds of Vermont’s nature as the sun departs for the day.
